Aaron Collins scored a stoppage-time winner as Bolton came from behind to beat Blackpool.

Wanderers trailed to Kyle Joseph’s 33rd-minute header and struggled to shake off the hangover from a 5-0 defeat at Stockport before the international break.

But the Trotters improved significantly after half-time, with one-time Tangerines teenager George Thomason returning from a seven-game injury lay-off to score a spectacular equaliser.

Captain Thomason, who netted a stunning winner in the corresponding fixture last season, lashed home a superb right-footed strike from 20 yards in the 53rd minute.

Former Bristol Rovers favourite Collins hit the bar from close range following Thomason’s teasing cross after 64 minutes.

And with seven minutes remaining Northern Ireland international Dion Charles' goal was disallowed for offside.

But Bolton, managed by ex-Blackpool defender Ian Evatt, got their reward when Collins fired in his sixth goal of the campaign four minutes into added time.
