That duo of Millie Turner and Maya Le Tissier has been absolutely sensational. Defensively when they have needed to be there they have and then they have been starting attacks by spraying passes foward. Phallon Tullis-Joyce has also been sensational and has risen to the occasion when called upon.

Manager Marc Skinner was asked about her current contract situation this week after an impressive showing for England.

Her deal currently runs until July 2025, with an option to extend for a further year.

For Manchester United fans they will be happy with the results so far this season but also with how the team have showed up. They looked a bit soft at times in the last few seasons, they didn't show up for big games. They are showing up now.

Manchester United are trying to build up possession patiently, while Arsenal are going for a more direct approach - looking towards goal as soon as they get the ball back.

Ideally Manchester United do not want Elisabeth Terland to be as isolated as she is at the moment, but she is happy to chase down and do that running if required.

That's good goalkeeping from Phallon Tullis-Joyce, who adjusts quickly to save a Caitlin Foord header that threatened to loop over the Manchester United keeper and into the back of the net.

Elisabeth Terland wants to be coming onto crosses like that, instead she is stood still and it is hard to get any power on it. She still manages to direct it the way of Daphne van Domselaar. Possibly the best chance so far for United.

Millie Turner is having a cracking game. She fizzes the ball over to Celin Bizet, who whips a cross into the box.

Elisabeth Terland jumps up and gets a powerful head on it, but she nods it down straight into the hands of Daphne van Domselaar.

It is a decent ball from Alessia Russo but it is difficult for Frida Maanum because it bounces just in front of her. She just didn't have the composure at the back post. Difficult to control, she just couldn't get over it.

Frida Maanum is looking a real threat in front of goal.

Another chance trickles wide from the Norway international.

Elisabeth Terland is always backtracking and she can't quite do it fast enough to head Grace Clinton's cross between the posts.

It wouldn't have counted anyway as the referee blows for a Terland foul on Steph Catley.
