    Celtic 5-0 Ross County

James Forrest gets to the bye-line and looks to provide Yang Hyun-Jun for a tap-in.

Good defending from the County defence though to prevent a sixth.

From the resulting corner, Adam Idah heads off the post.

  5. Postpublished at 16:15 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee

There are real signs of life from Kilmarnock in this half.

A cross from the left almost finds Bruce Anderson's head, but the striker is just put off by the Dundee defender in front of him.

  6. Postpublished at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    Motherwell 0-2 Hibernian

Hibs are starting the second half the same way they finished the first.

Mykola Kuharevich, Nectarios Triantis and Nicky Cadden have all had opportunities to make it 3-0 since the restart, but they all failed to hit the target.

Forfar have come from two down to level with League 2 rivals Stirling in the Scottish Cup.

  8. Postpublished at 16:10 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee

    Another half-chance for Kilmarnock.

Fraser Murray breaks down the left and sends in a really inviting cross.

It evades Jon McCracken in the Dundee goal, but it also evades the Kilmarnock player at the back post.

  13. Postpublished at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundee

Kilmarnock have started the second half brighter.

Front duo Kyle Vassell and Marley Watkins link up nicely to get into the box, but the latter can only curl his shot wide of the far post.

  14. KICK-OFF SECOND HALFpublished at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    We're getting back under way.

Celtic could be on their way to a record score, but the other Premiership games are less of a formality while most of the Scottish Cup games are also in the balance.

Just the one Santa hat spotted so far and we've yet to reach December!

We're here for it though, but even more importantly, let's have some goals this second half.

Surely both teams will come out for the second-period raring to go?

  16. Hibs well in controlpublished at 15:59 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    HT: Motherwell 0-2 Hibernian

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

David Gray has had some difficult half-time talks with his players this season, but the Hibs boss will undoubtedly earn their hot drink this time as they certainly deserve to be in front at the break.

Motherwell goalkeeper Aston Oxborough did his best to help the visitors for the opener and, despite the home team having the bulk of the possession, the Hibs defence have looked very strong.

Stuart Kettlewell on the other hand has a big job to lift his players for the second half and I wouldn’t be too surprised if he turns to the bench quickly.

  17. Celtic completely clinicalpublished at 15:58 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    HT: Celtic 5-0 Ross County

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

Grab a thesaurus and pick out any synonym you like for excellent. Whichever one you find, it's likely to apply to Celtic's first-half performance.

Manager Brendan Rodgers made six changes to his outfield players and challenged them to make an impact. In his wildest dreams last night, I can't imagine the Celtic boss had 5-0 at half-time with five different scorers.

County haven't been able to find a way to stop the onslaught. Or even to make things hard for their hosts. It has been all too easy for a clinical Celtic side who look hungry for more.

  18. HALF-TIME Motherwell 0-2 Hibernianpublished at 15:56 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

    HT: Motherwell 0-2 Hibernian

Goals from Junior Hoilett and Mykola Kuharevich have the visitors two ahead at the break.

David Gray's side are well in control and shouldn't lose this from here, but this is Hibs we are talking about. They have lost more points from winning positions than any other team this season.

Mykola Kuharevich celebrates with Chris Cadden after putting Hibs 2-0 up against Motherwell

  20. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 0-0 Dundeepublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 30 November 2024

These games normally have goals, and normally finish either 2-2 or 3-2.

We'll need a lot more quality in the second half if we're to see the customary four or five goals.
