    Just fantastic football all round!

A magnificent through ball from Lamine Yamal with the outside of his left foot to set Ferran Torres away.

The forward effortlessly takes the ball past goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier and hits his shot towards goal with the angle narrowing.

It's on target but Illia Zabarnyi slides in to make a brilliant goal-saving stop a yard or so out.

    Erling Haaland (15 mins)

    A classic Erling Haaland goal.

The ball comes over the top, he makes a perfect run and that telescopic leg does the rest of the work, poking the lob over the keeper and into the back of the net.

    It has been coming!

Martin Odegaard plays a brilliant ball through the defence for Viktor Gyokeres, who shrugs off a defender and fires a shot at goal. It hits the base of the post but Gabriel Martinelli is there to prod in the loose ball.

  4. Postpublished at 20:13 BST

    Monaco 0-0 Man City

Tijjani Reijnders finds himself in a bit of space around the edge of the area but he can't find the target.

It's not exactly started at a blistering pace this one.

  5. Postpublished at 20:12 BST

    Barcelona 0-0 Paris St-Germain

With Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele all missing, Paris St-Germain are lacking so much of the firepower they had last season.

But they're still able to break quickly and Achraf Hakimi gets into the Barcelona box before his low cross is deflected behind for a corner.

It's a great delivery from the right and Illia Zabarnyi meets it but heads over the bar. Good chance for the away side.

I don't think I've seen a side dominated in the opening minutes of a game [like this] in a long, long time.

  9. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:07 BST

    Bayer Leverkusen 0-0 PSV

PSV Eindhoven thought they had taken the lead at Bayer Leverkusen with a back-post header from Ivan Perisic.

However, the former Tottenham winger had strayed just offside and the goal is chalked off.

I'm going early with it, but what a start from Arsenal - it could be a long night for Olympiacos.

    Arsenal 0-0 Olympiacos

This is pretty exhausting for Olympiacos as they are chasing shadows at the moment.

Arsenal look sharp, are playing at a high tempo and are passing the ball around quickly.

  12. Postpublished at 20:06 BST

    Monaco 0-0 Man City

A promising attack for Monaco but there just seems to be a bit of miscommunication with two players going for the ball on the edge of the box and they can't make the chance count.

A massive chance for Martinelli who heads wide from six yards out.

Mikel Arteta had his head in his hands when he missed that.

A cloud of smoke hangs over Stade Louis II from the crowd's flares as Phil Foden whips in a dangerous free-kick to the far post but there's no one there to get on the end of it.

  15. CLOSE!published at 20:04 BST

    Arsenal 0-0 Olympiacos

Oh Arsenal should be 1-0 up after 90 seconds!

Myles Lewis-Skelly is allowed to run towards the box unchallenged from the left and he then sends a great ball in for a completely unmarked Gabriel Martinelli, but he somehow heads wide six yards from goal.

    Huge chance.

    Barcelona 0-0 Paris St-Germain

News of a late change to the Paris St-Germain XI - and it's another big loss for the visitors.

Joao Neves sustained an injury in the warm-up and Warren Zaire-Emery replaces him in the starting line-up.

Meanwhile, Lamine Yamal is all warmed up already, instantly jinking past a couple of players before playing the ball through to Ferran Torres.

  19. Silva clear on Man City futurepublished at 19:54 BST

Monaco v Man City (20:00 BST)

Bernardo Silva says he knows what his future holds as he nears the end of his contract.

The 31-year-old's deal expires at the end of the season.

Speaking before leading Manchester City out as captain against his former club Monaco in the Champions League on Wednesday, Silva said: "I know exactly what I'm going to do but it's not the time to focus on it.

"It's to do my best, to put the club back to where it belongs. We've had a lot of captains who've left but it's for the guys who have the most experience to pass it on to the young guys.

"Manchester City was so successful in the last eight years not because one captain was really good but because we have a group of great leaders.

"As the first captain you have to make sure some things don't happen - to create that environment but what we've seen is a group of great characters.

"My job now is to try to create that energy, that chemistry as a group of captains - me, Ruben (Dias), Rodri, Erling (Haaland) - so people behave in the right way."

  20. Can Kelly be Juve's hero again?published at 19:54 BST

    Villarreal v Juventus (20:00 BST)

Both Villarreal and Juventus are looking for their first Champions League win of the campaign tonight at Estadio de la Ceramica.

Villarreal were beaten 1-0 at Tottenham and Juventus looked to be heading for defeat as well, trailing 4-2 at home to Borussia Dortmund with 93 minutes gone.

However, two late goals saw them rescue a dramatic 4-4 draw - and it was an Englishman who scored the 96th-minute equaliser.

Lloyd Kelly joined Juve on loan - with an obligation to buy for £20m - from Newcastle in the summer and has enjoyed two big moments for his new side already.

The defender opened the scoring against Inter Milan just days before heading the remarkable late equaliser against Dortmund.

Can the 26-year-old, who didn't score a Premier League goal in 64 appearances for Newcastle and Bournemouth, make it a hat-trick of crucial goals tonight?
