  3. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 18 May

Napoli are getting closer and closer.

Matteo Politano twists into a yard of space and looks to cross the ball but it's overhit and loops on to the top of the crossbar.

Zion Suzuki was caught flat-footed and wouldn't have kept that out if it had dipped a little more.

  4. Race for Europe hotting uppublished at 21:09 British Summer Time 18 May

While Lazio trail 1-0 at Inter they remain two points clear of Fiorentina and Bologna in the race for the Conference League qualification spot.

If the Eagles can turn that deficit around they have a chance at catching Roma in fifth, the Europa League qualification place, or they could yet overhaul Juventus in the final Champions League qualification spot in fourth.

  5. CLOSE!published at 21:09 British Summer Time 18 May

Napoli's Giacomo Raspadori gets to the byeline and looks to have run out of space but manages to wriggle clear and his cross springs Zion Suzuki into action.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time 18 May

    Inter Milan 1-0 Lazio

    Speaking of benches.

Simone Inzaghi feels something needs to change and replaces Mehdi Taremi with Joaquin Correa.

Taremi was a little anonymous in the first half.

  7. Postpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 18 May

    Parma 0-0 Napoli

Napoli are starting to pen Parma back but there's little to admire in terms of end product at the moment.

How long until we see Antonio Conte turn to his bench?

  8. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:05 British Summer Time 18 May

    Inter Milan 1-0 Lazio

Former Barcelona player Pedro is sent on in the place of Gustav Isaksen.

Lazio's Pedro might be 37 but he's chipped in with eight goals in Serie A this season.

  9. Postpublished at 21:04 British Summer Time 18 May

    Inter Milan 1-0 Lazio

Inter Milan are doing a good job to take the sting out of the game.

It's a painful watch as they work it side-to-side across their backline but it's effective.

  10. Postpublished at 21:01 British Summer Time 18 May

    Inter Milan 1-0 Lazio

Lazio start the second half positively and it's time for Inter Milan to show they have a bit of resilience in defence.

Boulaye Dia attempts two shots but both are blocked.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:59 British Summer Time 18 May

    Parma 0-0 Napoli

Alex Meret is called into action inside the first minute.

Parma's Simon Sohm is afforded far too much space and unleashes a shot that looks destined to dip under the bar until Meret claws it away to safety.

  12. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:57 British Summer Time 18 May

Napoli were back in the changing rooms when Inter Milan scored their opener but officials across the country are making sure all eight games kick off at the same time, so Napoli are getting an extra couple of minutes of rest.

How much will that be of benefit?

    We're back under way.

  13. Postpublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 18 May

    HT: Inter Milan 1-0 Lazio

Inter Milan just need to hang on to what they have to take the race for the Serie A title down to the final day.

But - look away now Inter Milan fans - they don't have a great record when it comes to keeping a clean sheet at home in the league. Inter have conceded at least one goal in seven of their past nine at the San Siro.

  14. Lecce leading fight for survivalpublished at 20:51 British Summer Time 18 May

The big winners of the evening so far in the relegation scrap are Lecce.

They're drawing 0-0 at home to Torino and that point has them out of the relegation zone on goal difference as it stands.

Venezia sit behind them in 18th but are 2-0 down at Cagliari at the break. Former Everton centre back Yerry Mina opened the scoring before Roberto Piccolo doubled the lead on the stroke of half time.

Empoli are also doing Lecce a big favour as they still trail bottom club Monza 1-0.

  15. Postpublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 18 May

    HT: Parma 0-0 Napoli

Napoli have only won two of their last five visits to Parma but they did earn a 2-0 victory when they last visited the Stadio Ennio Tardini in 2020.

Can they pull something out of the bag in the second 45 minutes?

Well after their defeat to Villarreal earlier they finally got their hands on it, and the scenes were very jubilant.

Top two positions in Serie A table

That late strike from Yann Bisseck sees Inter Milan move to the top of Serie A.

Napoli still control their own destiny, though, and will reclaim top spot if they can find a way to win in the second half of their encounter at Parma.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:39 British Summer Time 18 May

    Inter Milan 1-0 Lazio

It really felt like we were heading to the break without a goal but the atmosphere in the San Siro has lifted.

A tense first-half but Inter Milan have the advantage.

You'd imagine the Napoli players, who went down the tunnel just a minute earlier, will have been informed.

  19. goal

GOAL - Inter Milan 1-0 Laziopublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 18 May

    Yann Bisseck

A huge goal in the Serie A title race.

Lazio fail to clear their lines and Yann Bisseck pounces on a loose ball before swiping through the ball and finding the roof of the net.

It's not pretty but it's enough to put Inter Milan at the top of the table.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 18 May

    Parma 0-0 Napoli

Nothing to separate the two sides at the break.
