Parma win a free-kick around 30 yards from goal and Hernani is eyeing up the target.

It's poorly executed, though, and smashes straight into the wall.

    Barcelona 2-3 Villarreal

The three previous games between Barcelona and Villarreal averaged 7 goals apiece.

Today we've only had five, so it's been a bit disappointing really...

Only kidding, what a contest it's been, we could have seen 20 in all honesty given the amount of chances the sides have created.

    Inter Milan 0-0 Lazio

Marcus Thuram is loose with his touch on the halfway line and Lazio break but Yann Bisseck comes to the rescue with a covering challenge on the edge of Inter Milan's box.

    Parma 0-0 Napoli

    Another opportunity for Ange-Yoan Bonny.

Parma have started really well and it's just inches away from his outstretched boot as Alex Meret gathers.

Napoli are yet to get going.

    Sevilla 0-2 Real Madrid

Second half goals from Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham help Real Madrid to stumble past a resolute, nine-men Sevilla.

It was not a vintage performance, but it's job done for Carlo Ancelotti in his penultimate game in charge.

  6. Roma lead against AC Milanpublished at 19:55 British Summer Time 18 May

Elsewhere, Gianluca Mancini puts Roma into a 1-0 lead at home against AC Milan.

Still a long way to go.

An early warning for Napoli as Parma's Ange-Yoan Bonny drives into the box and unleashes a shot. It's too close to Alex Meret and a comfortable save.

    Inter Milan 0-0 Lazio

A bright start from Inter Milan as they dominate possession.

Nothing yet to show for it in front of goal but setting the tempo early.

    Jude Bellingham (87 mins)

Real Madrid double their lead and it's Jude Bellingham who's got it.

His deft header takes his season tally to nine league goals but he hardly celebrates it after his earlier booking ruled him out of Los Blancos' final game of the campaign next week.

    Barcelona 2-3 Villarreal

    Ooof.

At one end Lamine Yamal fires just over the angle of post and bar with a curling left footed strike then immediately Villarreal almost extend their advantage but Gerard Moreno fires high over the top.

    Parma 0-0 Napoli

Scott McTominay quells Parma's first attack of the game and then dances his way out of danger.

Napoli quickly run out of steam and have to reset in a defensive shape.

This game is being played at walking pace now.

    Barcelona 2-3 Villarreal

Well if the champions are to avoid a first defeat in 18 games against Villarreal they will need to find that landmark 100th league goal of the season.

They've got seven minutes plus stoppage time to find it.

  18. Could Serie A title be decided by a play-off?published at 19:44 British Summer Time 18 May

If Inter Milan are held to a draw by Lazio and Napoli lose at Parma the prospect of the Serie A title being decided by a play-off is back on.

Inter would move above Napoli on goal difference but the two clubs would be level on points going into their final fixtures.

Should they remain level on points after the last game of the season on 25 May - Inter Milan travel to Como and Napoli host Cagliari - then the two clubs will have meet one more time.

Serie A re-introduced a rule in 2022 stating that if two teams competing for the title, or fighting relegation, finish level on points then they are required to meet in a one-off tie.

Inter Milan currently have a far superior goal difference and that will play a role - earning them the chance to host the tie.

If the play-off ends in a draw after 90 minutes - and both meetings between Inter Milan and Napoli this season have finished in that fashion - then the game goes straight to penalties.
