  1. goal

GOAL Birmingham 4-0 Cambridge Utdpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Luke Harris (80 mins)

A sub gets the fourth, sorry U's fans.

It's a fine goal too. Scott Wright's cross from the left is headed to the edge of the box where Luke Harris traps the ball on his thigh and unleashes a fizzing low volley which flies to Nathan Bishop's left and inside the post.

    They're really good, you know.

  2. Postpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Birmingham 3-0 Cambridge Utd

Chris Davies has emptied his bench. He doesn't think promotion is going to be decided by goal difference (and neither do I, for what little it's worth).

The intensity has dropped noticeably but of course all these Blues replacements want to stake a claim to be part of the fun in the starting XI next time out, so Cambridge are still being pulled and pushed from pillar to post.

  3. Postpublished at 21:23 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Reading 1-1 Shrewsbury

Chem Campbell does well to keep the ball in on the right for Reading and breaks in behind.

He rolls a teasing ball across the face of goal... but there is no-one there to get on the end of it.

A good chance for the Royals if only someone was gambling in the box.

  4. Postpublished at 21:22 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Charlton 1-1 Peterborough

Sam Hughes to the rescue for Posh with a vital interception at the back post as Matt Godden's flick looked like it might drop to Tyreece Campbell.

  5. League Two updatepublished at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    #bbcefl

The deadlock has been broken in south Wales, but one Welshman won't be smiling.

Newport lead Mark Hughes' Carlisle through a really composed finish into the bottom corner by Kyle Hudlin.

A fourth win in a row would send County up to 14th. It would be harsh on Hughes' men as they have belied their bottom place credentials.

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:20 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Birmingham 3-0 Cambridge Utd

Blues sub Scott Wright lays the ball back into the path of Krystian Bielik on the edge of the box but his side-foot pea-roller through a crowd is smartly blocked low down by Nathan Bishop, who must have been unsighted. He's had a good game, despite the scorline.

  7. Postpublished at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Charlton 1-1 Peterborough

Charlton's Thierry Small picks the ball up 25 yards out, drops the shoulder and buys a yard of space to the right, only for his low shot across goal to lack conviction allowing Jed Steer to gather low to his right.

The traffic is mainly, if not entirely, one-way, at present. Charlton do also love late drama this season... just marking your cards.

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:18 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Reading 1-1 Shrewsbury

Reading almost restore their lead immediately as Chem Campbell curls a left-footed effort towards the far corner from the edge of the box but Shrewsbury keeper Jamal Blackman gets down well to save.

  9. Postpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Birmingham 3-0 Cambridge Utd

Blues left-back Alex Cochrane comes off worst in a very meaty sandwich between Michael Morrison and Kell Watts as all three challenge for a high ball on the edge of the Blues box.

He needs some treatment, and maybe some smelling salts if those are still a thing.

Christoph Klarer is heading off, with January arrival from Norwich Grant Hanley coming on for Blues for the final 20 minutes and change.

  10. League Two updatepublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    #bbcefl

MK Dons are not laying down. Alex Gilbey struck the post moments after Barrow had taken the lead. Scott Hogan went even closer by nodding the ball into the net...but was offside.

As well as Barrow, Bradford and AFC Wimbledon are also winning in League Two.

  11. 'Mentality test for Walsall'published at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Walsall 1-1 Gillingham

    Mike Taylor
    BBC WM commentator

This is going to be a bit of a mentality test for Walsall now.

They looked comfortable with their lead, not under pressure, but will have to get themselves up for it and win it all over again.

  12. goal

GOAL: Reading 1-1 Shrewsburypublished at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Taylor Perry (56 mins)

    Shrewsbury have a deserved leveller!

Reading fail to deal with a long ball forward and Malvind Benning nods the bobbling loose ball into the path of Taylor Perry who drives into the box on the left.

Perry then hits an excellent finish across goal into the far corner for his second in as many games.

  13. League One latestpublished at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    #bbcefl

Leyton Orient are 3-0 up against Mansfield, who are heading for a sixth straight league defeat in a row as things stand.

By contrast, the O's will be just a point off the top six if things stay as they are.

Stockport will move within three points of the automatic promotion spots if they can see out the win over Bristol Rovers, where they currently lead 1-0.

Crawley and Stevenage are still tied at 1-1 and it remains goalless between Blackpool and Rotherham.

  14. Postpublished at 21:12 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Charlton 1-1 Peterborough

The Addicks are back on the front-foot with a man advantage but Matt Godden's looping, glancing header (trust me, it's possible) sails narrowly past the angle of the far post and bar with keeper Jed Steer scrambling across his line.

  15. goal

GOAL Walsall 1-1 Gillinghampublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Robbie McKenzie (68 mins)

    Holy moly, what a strike!

Nothing was on for Robbie McKenzie 25 yards from goal, but what he does have is a pocket of space and a rocket of a right foot.

He tries his luck and gets it. In off the underside of the crossbar as well, ie how to automatically make a goal look 673424 times better.

Walsall let a lead slip at the weekend to Colchester. It can't happen again, can it?

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Reading 1-0 Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury are seeing plenty of the ball in the opening stages of this second half but, as yet, haven't been able to create a clear-cut chance.

Taylor Perry then feels another decision has gone against him for Salop and remonstrates towards referee Abigail Byrne who shows him a yellow card for dissent.

  17. goal

GOAL Charlton 1-1 Peterboroughpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Malik Mothersille pen (63 mins)

Sub Malik Mothersille holds his nerve to send Ashley Maynard-Brewer the wrong way from the spot

Cool as you like and it's 1-1..

  18. YELLOW CARDSpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Walsall 1-0 Gillingham

    Things have turned very niggly.

Remeao Hutton and Connor Barrett start a pushing match over a throw-in, which sees plenty of team-mates pile in to grab a shirt or two. The two protagnosists see yellow.

And then Dominic Corness jumps into a tackle late to add another name to the referee's black book.

  19. PENALTY TO POSHpublished at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Charlton 1-0 Peterborough

The 10 men have a lifeline... Ricky-Jade Jones is felled in the box by Kayne Ramsay, who picks up a booking.

  20. RED CARD - Emmanuel Fernandez (Posh)published at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 11 February

    Charlton 1-0 Peterborough

A bad night goes to worse for Darren Ferguson and Peterborough as Emmanuel Fernandez is shown a straight red card by ref Lee Swabey just before the hour after a challenge on Thierry Small which the official considered to be studs-up.
