Hearts are unbeaten in their last 10 home league meetings with Aberdeen (W7 D3). The Jam Tarts haven’t conceded more than one goal against Aberdeen during this period, last conceding 2+ to the Dons at home in the league in a 1-2 defeat in May 2017.
None of the last eight Scottish Premiership meetings between Hearts and Aberdeen have ended in a draw, with both side winning four matches each during this period.
Hearts have won five of their last six league games (D1). Indeed, the Jam Tarts have recovered from a two-goal deficit in two of their last three in the Scottish Premiership, a 2-2 draw with Ross County in December and 3-2 win over Dundee last time out.
After scoring three away at Ross County (MD18) and one against St Johnstone last time out, Aberdeen are looking to score in three consecutive matches on the road for the first time this season, and for the first time overall since April 2023.
After missing none of the first 11 penalties he took for Hearts in the Scottish Premiership, Lawrence Shankland has since missed each of his last three in the competition, with these coming in his last four league matches.
