  1. Postpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 3 October

    Porto 0-2 Man Utd

Another chance as Marcus Rashford drives into the box and fizzes it across the six yard area. There is no one in a red shirt to turn it over the line.

  2. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 3 October

    Rangers 1-2 Lyon

John Souttar is the first name in the book after a foul on Clinton Mata.

  3. Postpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 3 October

    Chelsea 1-0 Gent

It's all Chelsea. Good feet from Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall on the edge of the box but his shot is blocked.

    Great break though from Chelsea.

Gent committed five players forward, the speed in which Chelsea got themselves up the pitch.

Great from Neto, just skimmed, Dewsbury-Hall.

He'd have expected to put that in.

That is from one end to the other.

Christian Eriksen runs forward and attacks the edge of the box, it goes into Marcus Rashford then into Rasmus Hojlund.

Diogo Costa doesn't get a block on it. That is twice the goalkeeper has been beaten at his near post - neither of those attempts should have gone in!

  6. Elsewhere...published at 20:24 British Summer Time 3 October

Eintracht Frankfurt lead 2-0 at Giovanni van Bronckhorst's Besiktas after only 22 minutes.

Omar Marmoush and Junior Dina Ebimbe scored the goals.

  7. Postpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 3 October

    Fiorentina 0-0 The New Saints

Lucas Beltran rattles an effort at goal and Connor Roberts saves at his near post.

Cristiano Biraghi then fires at goal from the subsequent corner. I say at goal, somewhere miles above the goal would be more accurate.

The New Saints have frustrated the hosts so far.

  8. Postpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 3 October

    Porto 0-2 Man Utd

One goal, one assist for Marcus Rashford. He's stepping up for Erik ten Hag tonight.

  9. Postpublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 3 October

    Chelsea 1-0 Gent

Inches away. In fact some fans think this is in.

Chelsea counter and Pedro Neto pulls the ball back to Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, whose first-time shot skims the side-netting. I thought he was going to score.

  10. goal

GOAL - Porto 0-2 Man Utdpublished at 20:21 British Summer Time 3 October

    Rasmus Hojlund

Where has this Manchester United been hiding?

Rasmus Hojlund marks his first start with a goal, a powerful attempt from inside the box.

Diogo Costa once again gets his hand to it but cannot keep it out.

  11. Postpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 3 October

    Chelsea 1-0 Gent

Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku chests the ball down on the edge of the area but it won't quite land to him and Gent clear.

  12. Postpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 3 October

    Porto 0-1 Man Utd

Twenty minutes gone in a flash in Portugal.

So far so good for Erik ten Hag.

Manchester United are competing and fighting.

  13. goal

    Alexandre Lacazette (19 mins)

    There we go!

It's so easy after Connor Barron plays the ball into a dangerous area.

Malick Fofana gets on the end of it and darts into the Rangers penalty area before playing a low cross into the path of Alexandre Lacazette who steers the ball into the back of the net.

What a game we have on our hands at Ibrox.

  14. Chelsea's second team look too strong for this competitionpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 3 October

    Chelsea 1-0 Gent

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport football news reporter

Chelsea have had two good moves in this game so far and opened the scoring through a far post header from Renato Veiga, shades of former left-back Marcos Alonso.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall fed Mykhailo Mudryk to cross for Veiga at the far post.

It followed the Ukrainian winger playing in Joao Felix after a good turn, the Portuguese does a fake shot and then pokes a finish goal wards but it is blocked.

The Belgian club look a bit ragged around the box when Chelsea get their pressing right.

Meanwhile, the away supporters are having the time of their lives in the Shed End at Stamford Bridge, dancing arm-in-arm while bouncing up and down.

They are also signing "you only sing when you're winning" after dominating the atmosphere early on.

  15. Postpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 3 October

    Rangers 1-1 Lyon

It has been a frantic start to the match at Ibrox.

There should be plenty more goals in this game.

  16. Postpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 3 October

    Chelsea 1-0 Gent

    Lucy Ward
Former Leeds striker on TNT Sports

I tell you what, good play by Mudryk, they move the ball quickly, crisp, sharp Chelsea.

This is about Veiga deciding how he connects with this. He needs to get enough power on the ball, he certainly did that.

    Great start from him.

  17. CLOSE!published at 20:17 British Summer Time 3 October

    Porto 0-1 Man Utd

Marcus Rashford is having a great game.

This time he floats a dangerous ball into the box towards Rasmus Hojlund but it skims off a Porto boot and drops just wide.

    Almost an own goal!

  18. Postpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 3 October

    Porto 0-1 Man Utd

Danger for Manchester United as Samu Omorodion has another attempt blocked before the ball falls invitingly for Joao Mario whose wild attempt flies over the bar.

  19. Postpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 3 October

    Porto 0-1 Man Utd

Marcus Rashford's goal was timed at 6 minutes and 40 seconds.

Rashford now has 14 goals in the Europa League, moving him outright third all-time in the Uefa Cup/Europa League among English players, behind only Alan Shearer (21) and Jermain Defoe (19).

  20. goal

GOAL - Rangers 1-1 Lyonpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 3 October

    Tom Lawrence (14 mins)

Tom Lawrence (left) celebrates scoringImage source, PA Media

    That didn't take long!

Lucas Perri is caught out by a poor back pass and Lyon are in a world of trouble.

Cyriel Dessers tries to poke home from close range but he can't quite apply the finish.

Tom Lawrence is in the right place to prod home the rebound and get the equaliser for Rangers.
