That's a great finish from Watanabe.

There's three or four Gent players just lined up, none of them marked.

Chelsea just lapsing in concentration at the back.

    It's too easy.

    Oh. My. Word.

United go from 2-0 up to 3-2 down and all eyes are on Erik ten Hag.

An emphatic finish by Samu Omorodion from about seven yards with Noussair Mazraoui playing Porto onside.

    A huge test now.

Tsuyoshi Watanabe meets Andri Gudjohnsen's cross and heads it beyond keeper Filip Jorgensen, who is rooted to the spot.

    VAR checking though.

    Another quick counter from Porto.

Francisco Moura on the angle and Andre Onana stands his ground. He doesn't need to make it easy for the full-back - he makes a decent save.

We have seen the best and worst of Manchester United, it will be interesting to see which one comes out in the second half.

It should be 3-2 to Porto!

Francisco Moura is in acres of space as he steams forward before hitting it towards the net.

Andre Onana stands his ground and makes the save.

    Lucy Ward

    Great early start for Chelsea.

It needed a better final ball, they needed to be more ruthless in front of goal.

They certainly did that at the start of the second half.

    An emphatic finish from Neto.

I am surprised Rashford has come off.

There must be a sight injury or the manager is looking at Aston Villa at the weekend.

GOAL - Chelsea 2-0 Gentpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 3 October

    Pedro Neto (46 mins)

Pedro Neto doubles Chelsea's lead about 40 seconds into the second half.

The Portugal man runs onto a ball over the top, two defenders miss the ball and Neto rifles a shot into the roof of the net.

  14. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:06 British Summer Time 3 October

    Porto 2-2 Man Utd

It's Marcus Rashford who has been replaced for Alejandro Garnacho.

Has Rashford picked up an injury? He was blistering in the first half.

    Back under way.

    Chelsea 1-0 Gent

    Joe Cole
Ex-Chelsea and England midfielder on TNT Sports

It's very similar to the earlier [Tottenham] game. Chelsea come out the blocks and they're flying. They went a goal up.

A few little unforced errors allowed Gent to get in.

I think Chelsea just get back to basics, keep high on the press, get the ball out early to Neto on one side and Mudryk on the other side and I think we'll be in business then.

Credit to the Fiorentina fans, they haven’t stopped through the games but now the whistling as started after the referee put a stop to that half.

All of a sudden you can spot where the TNS fans are thanks to a standing chorus of ‘Oh When the Saints….”. Turns out they’re just below us.

45 minutes away from a result. They couldn’t, could they?

Man Utd play decently for all of 10 minutes in most games, however, in that 10 minutes they’ll concede a goal or two. It’s extremely weird and has been happening since last season.

    Freddie

Picking De Light before big Harry Maguire serves Man Utd right. Favouritism for Erik ten Hag's ex-players is ridiculous and will cost him.

    Tony, Stockport

The biggest issue with Erik ten Hag's tactics is reliance on individualism. He is asking his forward line to take improbable shots irrespective of their position. No one seems to pass to players in a better position. No wonder we don't see an overload in the penalty box, unless United are trailing in the final minutes.
