Ipswich Town have failed to win each of their last five home league games against Sheffield Wednesday (D3 L2) since a 2-1 victory in August 2015.
Sheffield Wednesday have lost just one of their last seven league meetings with Ipswich Town (W3 D3), though that sole defeat did come in the reverse fixture back in September (0-1).
Since the beginning of last season Ipswich Town have scored 107 goals in home league matches, at least 13 more than any other side in England’s top four tiers (Manchester City – 94); the Tractor Boys have netted at least twice in 16 of their 18 matches at Portman Road this season.
Sheffield Wednesday have won their last two away league games without conceding after winning just two of their first 16 Championship away matches of the season (D1 L13); they haven’t won three away games in a row at this level since April 2017, when the third victory came against Ipswich Town.
Ipswich Town lost for the first time in eight league games (W6 D1) last time out against Cardiff City, but they have never lost back-to-back league matches under Kieran McKenna; the Tractor Boys are one of three teams yet to lose consecutive games in the EFL this season along with Mansfield Town and MK Dons.
