Forest Green kept on leaders York’s coat-tails at the top of the National League with a 4-1 win at Maidenhead.
Harvey Bunker opened the scoring in the 21st minute when he fired home from Joe Quigley’s pass and Charlie McCann made it two nine minutes before the break when he drilled home a loose ball.
Will de Havilland got Maidenhead back in it in the 66th minute as he headed home from a set-piece.
But Jordan Moore-Taylor’s cool finish three minutes later and Teddy Jenks’ fine strike 10 minutes from time kept Rovers just a point behind the Minstermen.
