Tottenham's Mali midfielder Yves Bissouma was overjoyed to reach the Europa League final.

Speaking to Spurs' X account, he said: "I'm happy, especially for the club because it deserves more than where we are now [in the league].

"To go to a final, for me, is something special. As a kid, I never would have believed I would come and play for Spurs one day and now that I'm here, I'm in a final. That's something I can't explain, I don't have the words to say it.

"I feel like I'm dreaming. If I'm dreaming, I don't want to wake up. But the reality is we did it, we're in the final.

"I'm really happy for the club, for my team-mates, for the staff, for the fans, for everyone. Now we just have to be one, a Spurs family, to go to Bilbao and bring the trophy back home. Spurs fans, this is for you. I'm so happy. One more game and we go."

It's almost 10:00 BST, time for me to take my break and Ben Ramsdale to take over.

I think the plan is for us to continue with our Europa and Conference League reaction this morning, and then go into Premier League news conference mode in the afternoon.

That sound alright to you, Ben?

  4. 'The final itself doesn't hold any fears for either team'published at 09:57 British Summer Time 9 May

Man Utd 4-1 Athletic Bilbao (Agg: 7-1)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport chief football news reporter on the Football News Show

I don't think Manchester United should be worried about the final. It is a final and a one-off game. Historically, Tottenham have beaten Manchester United - and they have done it quite a few times this season - but Manchester United have got memories of beating Tottenham as well.

It isn't as though Manchester United have gone 25 years without ever beating them, so I don't think the final itself holds any fears for either team. I don't think there will be a wariness. It will be about which players can reach their maximum and whoever that is will win the game.

I don't see it as being a big onerous fact that Tottenham have beaten Manchester United three times this season. I think United will feel they can win the game.

In terms of who will win the final please can we have a third option- "Don't Know" as it's impossible to tell which of the two will turn up on the night. Both Spurs and Utd have only been consistently bad in the PL.

The final will be edgy and cagey. The pressure will be on both sets of players but probably more so on Tottenham because of the lack of silverware in recent years. Spurs want a trophy desperately.

Manchester United will be more focused on Champions League although I don't think they are really ready for it yet. Tottenham will be hungry for silverware but Manchester United just want to be associated with the Champion League once again.

  7. 'Spurs were drilled and knew what they were doing'published at 09:51 British Summer Time 9 May

Bodo/Glimt 0-2 Tottenham (Spurs win 5-1 on agg)

    Nick Mashiter
BBC Sport football news reporter on the Football News Show

Ange Postecoglou's press conference was spiky. It wasn’t necessarily celebrating reaching a Europa League final. He didn't like being asked about how this will save Manchester United's season because that is nothing to do with him. And for Tottenham this is massive when you think about how long it is since they have won a competition. There wasn’t a huge celebratory tone, but a more defensive one, which was a little surprising.

Spurs' performance wasn't a classic but it didn't have to be. Tottenham did a professional job. Ange said pre-match that he wasn’t going to ask them to keep their cool and not be risky, because the players would do that anyway. They were drilled and knew what they were doing. Tottenham came and threw a blanket over the game, a very professional job.

  8. 'This final is going to upset a lot of people isn't it?'published at 09:47 British Summer Time 9 May

Bodo/Glimt 0-2 Tottenham (Spurs win 5-1 on agg)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou: "If it's so easy to get to a final, then why doesn't everyone who finishes in the top three do it?

"It's going to upset a lot of people isn't it? The debate's now raging. The latest one is that neither of us will be able to get a trophy if we win, they're just going to take a team photo because we're not worthy.

"I mean, who cares if we're struggling in the league? It's a separate thing. It's got nothing to do with league form.

"I couldn't care less who's struggling and who's not. I think both us and Manchester United have earned the right to be there."

  11. 'People are fearing that Spurs may actually win a trophy'published at 09:42 British Summer Time 9 May

Bodo/Glimt 0-2 Tottenham (Spurs win 5-1 on agg)

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou was asked whether winning the Europa League would save their season - in response to Ruben Amorim saying it won't save Manchester United's.

"What do I care what Man United think? Why is that relevant to me? You know better than me, you follow this club more than I have. What do you think a trophy would do for this club?

"People are fearing that it might actually happen. They're trying to tear it down and diminish it and try to compare us to Man United."

  12. 'It wasn't pretty, but it was an honest performance'published at 09:39 British Summer Time 9 May

Bodo/Glimt 0-2 Tottenham (Spurs win 5-1 on agg)

    Paul Robinson
Former England goalkeeper on the Football News Show

It wasn’t a pretty watch, it wasn’t the best free-flowing, attacking football that we have seen at the start of the season. But Spurs were were solid defensively they had shape and structure. They came with a game plan and the dark arts were in play. They went long from freekicks and goal kicks – it wasn’t pretty but it was a hard, honest performance.

On who the final is more important for: Ange. If Tottenham don't win, he won't be in charge next season. Ruben Amorim will either way. Ange's whole season and career at Tottenham depends on that one game. You cannot underestimate how huge this is for Spurs.

    Great question, Andy.

I've just had a dig through the small print and in Article 11.03 for both the Europa and Conference Leagues Uefa say:

"The winning team is presented with 50 gold medals and the runner-up with 50 silver medals."

So I imagine clubs can distribute medals as they see fit.

As for your question on times a player has won European trophies with two different clubs in one season, I'll leave the BBC Sport audience to answer that one.

Get Involvers - work your magic!

If Real Betis and Manchester United win their finals, does that mean Antony picks up two European winners medals? What a season that will be for him! And has anyone else ever won two European medals in a season?

  20. 'You can make it something really special, this is the group that'll do it'published at 09:15 British Summer Time 9 May

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham's X account has given us an insight into what it's like to be in the dressing room with boss Ange Postecoglou.

After last night's win he told his players: "I'm so proud of how all of you have stuck together. Not one time have I felt that people are not believing or have lost what we have in here. It's just outstanding.

"People never realise what it's taken for you guys to be in this position and you deserve all the credit for that. It's unbelievable what you've done.

"The things we've had to deal with. Everyone has contributed. Yeah, we've had problems, for sure, but we've stuck together. You can make it something really special. This is the group of players that is going to do it."
