Spurs have got to be brave and have to be better than they have been away from home so far. But what they have got at the moment is their best team and good bench options as well.

They've got experience and their better players, so I'm expecting them to go there and have a real good chance. It's very much still in the balance.

Two-time Manchester United Champions League winner Paul Scholes tells TNT Sports: "They [Manchester United] look a long way off the Champions League. There's a lot of money to be spent before they're at that level."

Onana. Showboating in front of the Lyon fans when Zirkzee scored only to complete a miserable night for him with a second error leading to a second goal. Embarrassing.

You're fuming [if you're Onana's team-mate]. They're two massive mistakes. He has got to save both of them in my opinion and he has cost United today.

He was in the headlines before the game and now he is going to be all over the headlines again.

Onana, yeah I think he looks a bit silly tonight and Matic is probably the one who is going to sleep well.

All in all that was a cracking game and it's all to play for in the return leg at Old Trafford next Thursday. But it could have been so much better for Manchester United. A night to forget for Andre Onana.

There is no doubt that this second half was Tottenham's best performance for some time but the result will feel disappointing.

Spurs came so close to a last gasp winner through Micky van de Ven's diving header and they would have thoroughly deserved it having hit the crossbar twice and having had a number of good efforts.

Outspoken manager Ange Postecoglou is applauding the fans and was lingering on the pitch after this good performance but will know that they now have to win in a hostile atmosphere away in Germany.

Whether Manchester United have suffered since David de Gea left is debatable. Whether Fiorentina have profited from having the Spaniard in goal tonight is undeniable.

De Gea has made two brilliant late saves, including a fantastic spreading stop with his left leg in the 96th minute from Celje's Edmilson, to earn the Italians a 2-1 win in Slovenia in their Conference League quarter-final first leg.

If Fiorentina reach the semis there is a good chance they will play Real Betis, who have comfortably beaten Jagellonia 2-0 in Seville tonight.

Meanwhile in Sweden, Rapid Vienna will take a 1-0 advantage to their second leg at home to Djurgarden thanks to a Hampus Findell own goal.

The winner of that tie could face Chelsea in the semis, after the Blues beat Legia Warsaw 3-0 in Poland in their quarter-final first leg earlier.

Dujon Sterling is helped from the field by medical staff. Rangers, already down to 10 men following Robin Propper's red card, have used all five substitutes.

They'll play the rest of the match with nine players.

And is that another error by Andre Onana?

Zirkzee has certainly saved Andre Onana's blushes.

Spurs may well feel that is a missed opportunity after the chances they created in the second half.

They hit the bar twice and should have scored right at the end.

Big ask for them in Germany next week but it's more than doable.
