  1. 'If it becomes transitional again I fear for United'published at 21:11 British Summer Time 10 April

    Lyon 1-1 Man Utd

    Izzy Christiansen
Former England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was brilliant, perfect [the timing of United's equaliser] but I don't think that meant Ruben Amorim was going to rip up the notes.

I still think there are things that need to be addressed in this half and if it becomes transitional again I really fear for Manchester United.

    Lyon 1-1 Man Utd

Slowish start to the second half which will suit United just fine. The emphasis is on Lyon to take a first leg lead to Old Trafford.

United are spraying passes around with confidence without creating too much.

Mario Gotze is experienced at winning at European level, you need youth, enthusiasm and hunger, but you need someone who knows how to put his foot on the ball and calm things down.

Mario Gotze rolling back the years with a touch off his chest before pulling a wonderful turn.

Unfortunately for him, he slips but that was a tiny glimpse of the magic in those boots.

Heart in mouth moment for Spurs!

Eintracht Frankfurt break with Hugo Ekitike. He works it well on the edge of the box and Jean-Matteo Bahoya has to shoot but decides not to.

Christian Romero snuffs out the attack but he had to let fly there!

Destiny Udogie gets past his marker with a tidy step over before whipping in a dangerous cross but there's no team-mate there.

Eyebrows were raised when Djed Spence was left on the bench but Pedro Porro and Udogie have both played well.

  11. 'Spurs have to stay focused'published at 21:03 British Summer Time 10 April

    Tottenham 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurt

    Joe Hart
Former Tottenham and Man City goalkeeper on TNT Sports

It would be ideal [for Tottenham to take the lead to Frankfurt], but I don't think Tottenham are good enough to make those chess moves.

They have to stay focused, they can't be planning for the future. They're not a good enough team right now.

Andre Onana really needed a quiet night. His error for Lyon's goal means the heat is on the Manchester United goalkeeper big time.

Still, a 1-1 draw would be a decent result to take into the second leg at Old Trafford next Thursday.

How do Spurs approach this second half then?

They look lively going forward and may feel as though they need to take a win over to Germany so don't be shocked to see them push forward more.

Great header by Yoro, saving Onana's blushes. Utd deserve to be at least level.

What a time to score your first Manchester United goal.

And what a wonderful header by 19-year-old Leny Yoro.

Andre Onana owes the French teenager big time because all the talk up to that moment was about the goalkeeper's latest error.

This is absolutely massive. He does so well to adjust his body position and knock it into the far corner.

It has teed up the second half wonderfully.

  20. Spurs have lifted themselvespublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 10 April

    HT: Tottenham 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurt

    Nizaar Kinsella
    BBC Sport football news reporter

That was a good end to the half from Tottenham as they fought back to go in 1-1 at the interval having dominated possession late on.

Yet, in the last moments there was a four on two as Arthur Theate played the ball across the box and star striker Hugo Ekitike wasted a big chance by hitting it right into goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario's hands.

That's Spurs in a nutshell but this is a gripping tie for any neutrals.
