  1. 'It's all about consistency'published at 14:44 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    FT: Reading 0-0 Birmingham

    Tim Dellor
    BBC Berkshire sport editor

If Reading can play at that level every week we can reach the play-offs, most definitely.

It's all about consistency and whether they can motivate themselves to get to that mental state more often, in circumstances that are tougher.

  2. 'Huge game in the promotion race'published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

A stunning day at the Toughsheet Community Stadium and both sets of fans understand how huge this game is for their promotion hopes

Plenty of nerves and excitement amongst the supporters who’ve arrived here early.

  3. Cobblers and Rovers trying to move away from dangerpublished at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

Northampton v Bristol Rovers (15:00 GMT)

The objective for Northampton Town and Bristol Rovers is pretty much the same at the moment - avoid relegation.

Both the Cobblers and the Gas are lurking too close for comfort to the bottom four.

Northampton are four points clear of danger and picked up two impressive wins over Huddersfield and Mansfield before a 2-0 home defeat to Wrexham last time out.

As for Bristol Rovers, they've similarly had a decent run of results with a draw against in-form Stockport sandwiched between wins over Peterborough and Burton Albion before they also lost 2-0 at home to promotion-chasing Wycombe.

Some parallels between the two, then, with Rovers just six points clear of Burton Albion in 21st, but who can pull further clear of the drop today?

  4. Terriers bite back in play-off pushpublished at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Huddersfield v Peterborough (15:00 GMT)

Huddersfield's Herbie Kane celebrates scoring against BarnsleyImage source, Rex Features

Huddersfield Town saw their push for a play-off finish take a major wobble recently when they went five games without a win, including three defeats on the bounce.

But the Terriers have bounced back to win their past two and give themselves a five-point cushion from Charlton in fifth.

Michael Duff's side need to keep reeling off positive results if they're to stay in the top six, though, starting with the visit of Peterborough today.

The Posh have some business of their own to see to at the other end of the table with just one win from their past 12 games (D4 L7) dragging them right into the relegation scrap.

Darren Ferguson's men are now just two points above the drop zone and know they face a tough ask today. Depending on results elsewhere, Peterborough could end the weekend in the bottom four.

  6. 'One of the most well-earned clean sheets of the season'published at 14:33 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    FT: Reading 0-0 Birmingham

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

Really enjoyable game. I think if you ask Chris Davies after the game that's up there with one of the toughest games.

I think the pitch didn't suit Blues and their passing game, it suited Reading's front-foot style a bit more they could get at Blues from the start.

That's one of the most well-earned clean sheets of the season, it shows a lot of grit and resilience from the Blues, we dug in and have got a really hard-fought point on the road.

  7. 'Professional display from the Saddlers'published at 14:30 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    FT: Morecambe 0-2 Walsall

    Paul Joannou
Walsall summariser on BBC Radio WM

A professional display from the Saddlers.

Morecambe reacted well to the setback but didn't really threaten us.

Gordon was excellent on the left-hand side, much of the entertainment has been in the dugout as Mat Sadler doesn't seem to be happy with Derek Adams.

All that Sadler will care about is the three points and a good Walsall performance.

  8. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:29 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Reading 0-0 Birmingham

The spoils are shared between Reading and Birmingham and it's probably a fair result in the end.

Reading had a number of openings and more than held their own, but were forced into two clearances off the line, most notably by Amadou Mbengue from Lyndon Dykes, who should've buried it from six yards out with the rest of the goal at his mercy.

Tyler Bindon also headed off the line from Christoph Klarer's looping goal-bound header towards the far corner to help the Royals stay in touch of a play-off spot.

Blues fail to score for only the third time this season but extend their lead at the top of League One to seven points and still have a game in hand.

  9. Postpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Crewe 3-0 Barrow

Something to make those on the long Gresty Road injury list smile this lunchtime, as Crewe pick up a first win in six and climb to sixth in the League Two table.

Barrow's hunt for a third away win of the season goes on.

The hosts visit Chesterfield next weekend, looking to avenge a 5-0 defeat back in August, while Andy Whing's side will prepare for a huge Cumbrian derby with Carlisle this Thursday.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Rotherham 0-1 Barnsley

Barnsley take the bragging rights in the South Yorkshire derby.

Adam Phillips' goal from the penalty spot is the difference and Rotherham's 43-year wait for a win over the Tykes goes on.

It was a contest of very few chances in truth, but it's a big win for Darrell Clarke's side as they end a six-game winless run and move within seven points of the top six ahead of the 15:00 GMT fixtures.

  11. Postpublished at 14:27 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Rotherham 0-1 Barnsley

Rotherham win a free-kick late on, deep inside the Barnsley half. Reece James bends it in but a tame headed effort is straight at sub goalkeeper Jackson Smith in the Tykes goal.

  12. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Crewe 3-0 Barrow

After a difficult February, Crewe sign off the month in style with three goals and three points.

Connor O'Riordan bundled in the opener in the first half, before fellow loanee Tom Lowery added a penalty shortly after the break.

Matus Holicek wrapped up the points late on.

  13. FULL-TIMEpublished at 14:24 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Morecambe 0-2 Walsall

Walsall defeat a 10-man Morecambe side to see themselves extend their lead at the top to 10 points.

Rhys Williams' saw red for Morecambe after taking down Jamie Jellis just outside the box and to add further insult, gave Taylor Allen the opportunity to whip in an opener from the free kick.

Jellis then played another hand, crunching in a strike from the box to send Walsall two clear and secure a further three points for the league leaders.

Walsall wobbling? Surely, those fears are alleviated now.

  14. Postpublished at 14:23 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Rotherham 0-1 Barnsley

Rotherham have huffed and puffed with a couple of corners but can't breach the Barnsley defence. Time is ticking for the Millers.

  15. INJURY TIMEpublished at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Reading 0-0 Birmingham

  16. 'Emphatic from Jellis'published at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Morecambe 0-2 Walsall

    Paul Joannou
Walsall summariser on BBC Radio WM

It's the power of the finish, I think the keeper was a bit unsighted and Jamie Jellis was looking to pounce, a ruthless finish.

    Emphatic stuff from Jellis.

  17. 'It's been a really tough game'published at 14:22 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Reading 0-0 Birmingham

    Darren Carter
Ex-Birmingham midfielder on BBC Radio WM

I think Reading can sense that they have the freshness, Reading had eight days to prepare, and Blues have had a lot on their plate. It's been a really tough game.

I think some subs from Chris Davies will help to give Blues some energy.

  18. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 14:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Reading 0-0 Birmingham

Birmingham boss Chris Davies makes a double change. Kieran Dowell and Keshi Anderson are replaced by Taylor Gardner-Hickman and Grant Hanley.

Noel Hunt also makes a switch for Reading. Mamadi Camara heads off and Billy Bodin is on in his place.

  19. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 14:21 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Crewe 3-0 Barrow

Goalscorer Matus Holicek is the third change for Crewe. Luca Moore is on to stretch his legs for a few minutes.

  20. Postpublished at 14:20 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February

    Rotherham 0-1 Barnsley

Chem Campbell bursts down the left for Reading and fires in a cross but Christoph Klarer blocks for Blues.

It's on a knife-edge as we move towards the final minute of the 90.
