My instincts are saying France look better than England as a team.
If you are analysing both of the last-16 matches for England and France, there are positives for France which they can take and build on but with England there are more things they must improve on if they are going to have a more dominant performance against Switzerland.
You look at the players in each squad and Jude Bellingham showed it for England but I don’t think any player particularly showed it for France. But this is a tournament which is wide open now and any team can win it.
So far we've had plenty of reaction to last night's Euro 2024 games, which saw France and Portugal scrape through to the quarter-finals.
We also brought you news of Tottenham completing the signing of much sought-after teenager Archie Gray from Leeds.
Now we're going to have a closer look at England's chances of progressing at the Euros... and please keep your memories coming of when football made you cry - and when it made footballers cry too!!

I first cried at a football match as an 8 year old at Euro 96 when Scotland were eliminated in the group stage after having only scored 1 goal. I decided from then on I would save my tears for the knockout rounds... still waiting.

It looks like Father Time has come knocking for Ronaldo and deep down a part of him knows it. It's clear however just how much he loves both football and his country which is something I think most of us can relate to. Either way, its probably time for an honourable discharge and for Bruno to take the next penalty.

Midfielder Archie Gray was brought to London by Brentford, not Tottenham, as they believed they were close to securing arguably the biggest transfer in the club's history.
Brentford technical director Lee Dykes had led the charge for the Bees to secure one of the biggest coups in recent times.
However, after failing to agree a payment structure to satisfy Leeds, Tottenham managed to change the course of the deal to secure the 18-year-old for £30m, plus the £10m-valued Joe Rodon, to meet the £40m release clause to ensure his exit.
The signing of Gray on a six-year deal in north London ends a saga which reveals a lot about where both clubs are.
Spurs may often get ridiculed for failing to win trophies by fans of other big clubs but they are widely perceived to be a great place for British talent to develop within the football ecosystem.
Meanwhile, Brentford are also highly-regarded across the game but they have ambitions to push towards European qualification and are willing to spend big to do so.
However, to do that, they need to attract another level of talent which has proved difficult at times for Thomas Frank's side.

A missed penalty in extra time led to the mercurial star feeling like he had "hit rock bottom", before teammate Diogo Costa saved the day in the shootout.

At the 2022 Qatar World Cup Cristiano Ronaldo showed his emotion from the off with a rousing rendition of national anthem 'A Portuguesa'.
It was a successful opening game for Portugal as Bruno Fernandes scored twice in the win over Uruguay.

Ronaldo took centre stage in his first major international final as a 19-year-old as Greece produced one of the biggest shocks in history at Euro 2004.

Image source, PA MediaArchie Gray is, of course, an exceptionally gifted young footballer who came through the Leeds academy, but his connection with the club goes far deeper.
He is the son of Andy Gray, the grandson of Frank Gray and the great nephew of Eddie Gray, who all played for Leeds and represented Scotland.
Winger Eddie Gray played in Leeds' best-ever team and spent his entire career with the club, making more than 500 appearances for them between 1966 and 1983.

A club statement by Leeds read: "Understanding the attraction of Premier League and European football, the club, with a heavy heart, agreed the transfer, but the move has strengthened the board’s resolve to ultimately return Leeds to a position where it can meet the footballing ambitions of even its brightest stars.
"Whilst we understand that supporters will be hugely disappointed to lose such a home-grown talent, and a family name so synonymous with Leeds United, the move improves the club’s chance to compete for automatic promotion next season by increasing our ability to build a competitive squad within the league’s financial control regulations.
"Everyone at Leeds United is heartbroken to see one of our own depart and would like to thank Archie for all his efforts and professionalism. He leaves with the very best wishes for his future career and in the knowledge that Leeds will always be his home."
Wales defender Joe Rodon will head in the opposite direction and join Leeds on a permanent deal having spent last season on loan with the Championship club.
Leeds say the 26-year-old has joined for an undisclosed fee on a four-year-deal.
Archie Gray will be the third addition to Tottenham's squad this summer, after Timo Werner and Lucas Bergvall.
Germany forward Werner, 28, ended last season on loan with Spurs from RB Leipzig and has rejoined the club on a season-long loan deal.
Tottenham agreed a five-year deal to sign Bergvall from Djurgarden in the winter transfer window and the 18-year-old Sweden midfielder joined Spurs on Monday.

Archie Gray joins Tottenham on a six-year contract and will wear the number 14 shirt.
Leeds say they have accepted an undisclosed fee after Tottenham met a release clause that was triggered by Leeds not getting promoted from the Championship last season.
Brentford had agreed a fee that could reach £40m with add-ons.

Tottenham have announced the signing of Archie Gray from Championship side Leeds.
Spurs have beaten off competition from Premier League rivals Brentford to sign the 18-year-old, with the Bees having agreed a fee with Leeds last week.
Gray came into Leeds' starting line-up last season and made 44 league appearances, playing mostly at right-back but also in midfield.
