  1. 'Rovers a shadow of last term's team'published at 15:34 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Raith Rovers 0-2 Greenock Morton

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Stark's Park

Raith have had plenty possession so far but have been really wasteful when reaching the final third.

They look a shadow of the team that ran Dundee United so close in last season's Championship title race.

Morton haven’t needed to be great in establishing their two-goal lead, but Filip Stuparevic has been extremely sharp and fully deserves his two goals.

  2. Great save from Russellpublished at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Ayr United 0-0 Queen's Park

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Somerset Park

    Some action at last.

Twenty minutes on the clock and the returning Queen's Park captain Dom Thomas thinks his right foot shot is hitting the top left-hand corner.

It is until a wonderful save from Liam Russell, stretching out his left hand to spectacularly tip over.

  3. goal

GOAL Raith Rovers 0-2 Greenock Mortonpublished at 15:28 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Filip Stuparevic

Two for Morton and two for Filip Stuparevic, who is making quite the impression in his loan spell.

  4. Visitors come closest to breakthroughpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Dunfermline 0-0 Airdrieonians

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at East End Park

Early on, this looked like a banker for Dunfermline as they probed and tried to create. They didn't trouble Kieran Wright in goal, though, and gradually Rhys McCabe's side have worked their way forward.

They had the chance of the game so far when the ball fell perfectly for Luke Badley-Mrogan.

He smashed a volley on target but what a save from Tobi Oluwayemi to keep this level.

  5. Waiting for some footballpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Ayr United 0-0 Queen's Park

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Somerset Park

Not a great deal of quality so far in the opening 20 minutes.

No shots on target, little in the way of attractive football, and neither goalkeeper called into action.

I'll get back to you if anything happens...

  6. goal

GOAL Partick Thistle 2-0 Hamilton Academicalpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Scott Robinson

Thistle are two up by minute 19 at Firhill.

Scott Robinson finishes his second unmarked from a home corner.

  7. 'Rovers should be level'published at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Raith Rovers 0-1 Greenock Morton

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Stark's Park

As good a finish it was from Filip Stuparevic to give Morton the lead, the Raith defence were very poor.

And Rovers should be back on level terms through Dylan Easton, but he missed a terrific chance with a header.

Great ball in from Finlay Pollock on the right-hand side.

  8. goal

GOAL Raith Rovers 0-1 Greenock Mortonpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Filip Stuparevic

The Motherwell loanee smashes in from just four yards out at Stark's Park.

  9. Battle at bottom with both desperate for winpublished at 15:10 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Dunfermline Athletic 0-0 Airdrieonians

    Martin Dowden
BBC Sport Scotland at East End Park

You can see the determination in both these sides in the opening exchanges to get a grip of proceedings, but it's Dunfermline showing an ability to create.

They're showing the threat James McPake will want converted as that seems to have been a big issue.

It's a vital contest for both and could have a big say on the complexion of their respective runs up to Christmas.

  10. goal

GOAL Partick Thistle 1-0 Hamilton Academicalpublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Scott Robinson

Early goal at Firhill as Scott Robinson nets the opener.

A weak shot finds the bottom-left corner.

  11. Stats favour away win?published at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Ayr United 0-0 Queen's Park

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Somerset Park

Curiously, the home side in this fixture often doesn't win.

You have to go back seven meetings for the last time it happened, February 2023, when Queen's Park won 2-0.

Since then, only away wins or draws. Ayr are looking to erase that stat this afternoon.

  13. Win needed for both sides at Stark's Parkpublished at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

Raith Rovers v Greenock Morton (15:00)

    Brian McLauchlin
BBC Sport Scotland at Stark's Park

If either Raith or Morton have any aspirations of promotion, then a sustained winning run is required.

So far this season there has been little evidence of that happening, with both teams at the wrong end of the Championship table.

Rovers boss Neil Collins brings in speedy winger Finlay Pollock, who is on loan from Hearts, with Callum Fordyce dropping to the bench.

It’s six without a win for Dougie Imrie and Morton, with Kirk Broadfoot and Michael Garrity dropping to the bench and Zak Delaney and Grant Gillespie returning to the starting line-up.

  14. Brown challenges Ayr to 'show personality'published at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Ayr United v Queen's Park (15:00)

    Kheredine Idessane
BBC Sport Scotland at Somerset Park

Intriguing afternoon ahead at Somerset Park, where third hosts fourth with Queen's Park on the same points as Ayr United.

The Spiders are on a good run of form, having only lost just one of their last 11 matches.

Ayr, by contrast, were dumped out of the Challenge Cup in midweek by East Kilbride and their overall form has tailed off after a good start.

In all competitions they've won just two of their last seven matches and home boss Scott Brown is challenging his players to "show their personality".

  15. As they standpublished at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 16 November 2024

    Scottish Championship

Falkirk's trip to Livingston jumps off the page when you glance at the fixture list and that's because of both sides' league positions.

League leaders Falkirk lead the way by six points, but nearest challengers Livi would reduce that gap to three with a win.

A victory for John McGlynn's men, though, would put them in a fantastic position.

Elsewhere, there's a basement battle between Dunfermline and Airdrieonians at East End Park.
