I don't know if the rotation is effecting the relationships. When you're low in confience, the decision making goes and then you're on the back foot again.

They're rushing passes and that comes with the lack of instinctiveness. We normally praise them for how they possess the ball and keep it but the standards have dropped.

I just feel like Brighton have really built on last season. They've brought strength into their team.

They have a direction and they're trying to find the personnel to do that. They stick with what the manager wants.

When you see a side that's looking a bit fragile and vulnerable, it's an opportunity to make the most of the game.

Brighton have reinforced themselves from an attacking standpoint so that's what they have to utilise.

It is a bright but cold day in north London. This has the feeling of being first truly wintry game of the season.

There is one Arsenal supporter sat in front of the press box wearing a Daphne van Domselaar shirt, supporting the under-fire Gunners keeper.

Van Domselaar has made a few errors this season, including a misplaced pass that allowed Lyon to score their equaliser in midweek.

But the Dutch international keeps her place in goal for Arsenal today.

Brighton manager Dario Vidosic speaking to BBC Two, on being without loanees Michelle Agyemang and Rosa Kafaji: "It is [disruptive]. It's something we always knew would be happening but it's never nice, especially with the midweek game and less time to make adjustments."

On how to approach the game: "I think we have to be mentally ready for 90 minutes, that's always important when you're facing a team of this quality. At any moment they can get you. We felt that last season, especially with the support they get here as well. This is an enjoyable day, today is about going out there, enjoying it, playing our best and seeing what the outcome is."

Arsenal

Arsenal boss Renee Slegers speaking to BBC Two, on the changes she's made to her side: "Very strong squad we work with. We play a lot of games so always have the luxury of looking at who's fresh and what qualities we need and want. We have starters and finishers."

On her side's confidence: "The confidence is there, the belief in the collective and themselves as individuals is definitely there. It's been about fine margins and looking at those things so we get the margins on our side. Preparation is part of feeling confident and the squad has been preparing really well."

Brighton are not in great shape coming into this match, having lost twice already this week in London - at Spurs in the WSL and West Ham in the League Cup.

Manager Dario Vidosic was prickly at his press conference this week, and was particularly unhappy about recent refereeing decisions.

On this match, he said: “We haven’t had opportunity to train much this week, we are a bit thin squad wise at the moment. But every session is a chance to improve.

"Arsenal have a lot of strengths. I don’t think results for them have been fair, but I am confident we can get a result.”

Fran Kirby just loves scoring and playing well against Arsenal. We likened her [at the start of her career] to Kelly Smith and she's certainly lived up to that. What she's done is incredible.

Brighton's Fran Kirby is back in action after being sidelined with illness last week.

Earlier this week, Kirby chatted to BBC Sport about the heart illness that kept her out for 10 long months in the 2019-20 season.

"I just got really, really extreme chest pain. Like something that I've never, ever experienced before," Kirby told BBC Sport.

"I didn't know what was going on. My head started to get really dizzy and I remember just saying that I've got to go and sit down.

"I got up, walked across the kitchen and then basically just completely collapsed in the hallway, like passed out completely.

"I thought I was having a heart attack."

Arsenal manager Renee Slegers is in fighting mood in her programme notes for today's game.

"It has been a challenging few weeks for us as a group," she writes. "We know we haven't performed as we need to in the last four games.

"These aren't the high standards that we hold ourselves to at Arsenal."

If Arsenal fail to win today, it will mark their worst league start since 2014.

I think there will be a few concerns within the camp for sure. The way they have got the results hasn't been towards the standard they set towards the end of last season.

There are a few problems. If Brighton get the win then they could jump above them in the league. It's a big game for Arsenal today.

Arsenal manager Renee Slegers has shown her players videos of Roger Federer as part of her attempts to halt their poor form.

The Gunners are winless in four games across all competitions, and are five points behind Women's Super League leaders Chelsea.

Slegers told media on Friday that she has used tennis legend Federer to try and inspire the Arsenal players to bounce back from disappointment.

"We watched Roger Federer to see how you go from point to point," she said. "Everyone wants the same thing, for Arsenal to succeed.

"He talks about percentages of games and points won in his career, and how the point at that moment is the most important, then he moves onto next one.

"He only won 54% of points in his career but is the best of all time - it is how he comes back after losing points, and is good at the most important moments."

A great game. I think Chelsea nearly look at their best but just need to start getting that clinicalness going. That will come with the amount of opportunities they've created and against a team that had the highest record of clean sheets says it all.

I'm watching people's body language and the players aren't celebrating. They're in their huddle already, talking and Millie Bright's having words with individuals. They expect more and I won't be surprised to hear Bompastor say that.

This Chelsea team still aren't at their best and sit top of the table - that will be a worry for other sides.

A 1-0 loss away to Chelsea is not something Tottenham should be embarrassed about.

They had a couple of half chances, conceded an absolute worldie from Keira Walsh so they should be very proud of themselves and this is something they should build on.

Manchester United come from behind to secure a dominant win.

Honoka Hayashi's goal meant Everton led 1-0 at the break but they were never really in control, with United having missed many changes.

Four second-half goals made the difference.
