  2. Rodgers delights in Celtic successpublished at 17:43 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    FT: Celtic 3-0 Hearts

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Scotland: "The way we played through the press for all three goals was really impressive.

"For the players to come back from the international break and to play with the connection and authority, I was really pleased.

"You see what Daizen Maeda gives the team with that relentless appetite to press. When he's in, you fancy him to score."

  3. Saints can't have any complaints about defeat - Valakaripublished at 17:39 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    FT: Hibernian 3-0 St Johnstone

St Johnstone manager Simo Valakari tells BBC Scotland: "I have no complaints [about the result]. We did not play well enough to get anything out of the match.

"We need to own this defeat and learn from it. We came here to win and to test ourselves and we weren't at a good enough level. There's no point in feeling frustrated or angry because we didn't play well enough.

"We did not ask enough questions from the opponent. When we play like we played it was almost impossible. We made the right decisions but maybe the execution was not there. Yes, I'm frustrated for the players because they want to show they are good players and I know they are good players.

"We have a big, big fight ahead of us."

  4. 'St Mirren results now matching performances'published at 17:35 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    FT: St Mirren 5-1 Kilmarnock

St Mirren assisstant manager Brian Kerr tells BBC Scotland: "We're delighted.

"I think over the last seven, eight weeks, the performance has always been there, the results haven't quite been there and that's been the frustrating thing for us.

"But to go and get the performance and the result today is very pleasing."

On if his side are targeting another top-six finish, he adds: "Yeah, it's always been there for the start of season.

"We knew how difficult it was, we knew how tight the league was, and the ups and downs results and defeats obviously.

"We'll enjoy tonight, we'll make sure everybody's ready to go next week and we'll concentrate fully on Dundee.

"We concentrate on that game, go and hopefully get the result there and then after that we look at what the next steps are."

  5. 'Celtic hit stride after sticky start'published at 17:30 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    FT: Celtic 3-0 Hearts

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

It was a strange first half because Hearts had Celtic pinned back for the first 15 minutes. Sinisalo made a great save from Neilson, which was critical.

But then Celtic got into their stride and the first goal was exceptional. Right from the back, then McGregor picked the pass for Maeda to finish.

  6. Wimmer not happy Motherwell 'gave up'published at 17:20 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    FT: Aberdeen 4-1 Motherwell

Motherwell boss Michael Wimmer tells BBC Scotland: "Aberdeen deserved the win. We started well, went in front, but then Aberdeen were better. We were lucky to go in at half-time at just 2-1 down.

"We started well in the second-half, good in possession, had chances with Tom Sparrow and Luke Armstrong. For 3-1, we defended badly and that was that for us.

"What is not okay for me is the last 15 minutes. We gave up, and I don't like that. It doesn't matter what the result is, we have to fight for 90 minutes."

  10. Decisive win as Maeda shines againpublished at 17:08 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

    FT: Celtic 3-0 Hearts

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

Celtic were clinical in key moments to simply swat Hearts away and, once again, Daizen Maeda takes the plaudits as another Premiership title closes in.

The fact that there's been hardly a mention of Kyogo Furuhashi since his departure says it all. Maeda has been sensational and his 30 goals tally is quite incredible.

Talks on a new deal might be accelerated as there are bound to be admirers given the qualities he has.

Hearts were impressive early on but after being ripped apart by three excellent goals, it was more about regrouping and avoiding a damaging scoreline. They did and now have two big, big games ahead.

Hibs wrap up their top-six place with a comfortable victory.

That's now 15 Premiership games unbeaten for David Gray's side, with Junior Hoilett, Martin Boyle and Kieron Bowie on target.

St Johnstone were poor and this is a setback in their fight for survival as they remain five points adrift of Dundee, who host Rangers in half an hour.

  17. FULL-TIME Aberdeen 4-1 Motherwellpublished at 16:56 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

Given their start to the season, it seems mad that Aberdeen have only just clinched their top six place in late March - but they've done just that today.

They had to work for it after going behind early on to Callum Slattery's header, but they reacted brilliantly to level quickly through Alfie Dorrington.

It was soon 2-1 to the hosts thanks to Leighton Clarkson's superb curled strike, and the game was wrapped up thanks to Kevin Nisbet's second-half double - the second of which was one of the finest strikes this season.

The controversy came from Papa Gueye's first-half tackle. Should the Senegalese striker have stayed on the pitch? He did, winning the corner that resulted in Aberdeen's second.

  18. PENALTY TO HIBSpublished at 16:55 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

A marauding run out of defence from Rocky Bushiri sets up a chance for Kieron Bowie, who is clipped as he cuts inside.

  19. FULL-TIME Celtic 3-0 Heartspublished at 16:54 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

Three and easy for Celtic, who move 16 points clear at the top.

Two for Daizen Maeda and one from Jota had the league leaders three up at the break. A quiet second half had the feel of a training session.

Hearts stay in sixth despite the defeat.

  20. FULL-TIME St Mirren 5-1 Kilmarnockpublished at 16:53 Greenwich Mean Time 29 March

A terrific, rampant display from St Mirren as they demolish Kilmarnock and keep their top-six hopes alive.

A double from Caolan Boyd-Munce, a Roland Idowu penalty, and two terrific strikes from Declan John and Mark O'Hara were all goals of real quality for the hosts who were impressive across the park in difficult conditions.
