    St Johnstone are punished trying to play out from the back as Junior Hoilett's sliding challenge on Sven Sprangler sends the ball straight through to Martin Boyle. The Hibs man races forward and makes no mistake as he fires beyond Andrew Fisher in the Saints' goal.

    Great defending from Rocky Bushiri prevents St Johnstone from snatching an equaliser.

    The Hibs man sticks a leg out and sends Jason Holt's shot behind for a corner, which comes to nothing.

    Up the other end, Myko Kuharevich misses a golden chance to get Hibs' second! He fires way over the bar from just a few yards out when a header looked the better option.

    This is absolutely ruthless from Celtic.

    The first goal was a move of top quality with Maeda dashing in behind to finish with aplomb. He is just dripping in confidence right now.

    The second oozed quality again with Nicolas Khun the architect and Jota there to finish it off with Maeda unlucky to hit the post.

    It's worth remembering the contribution Viljami Sinisalo made at 0-0 with a great stop. He's looked confident and comfortable with the ball at his feet.

    Reo Hatate slices one wide from the edge of the box as Celtic search for a third.

    The wind is well and truly out of Hearts' sails.

  6. Aberdeen 1-1 Motherwell

    Papa Gueye is a lucky man. Dispossessed by Callum Slattery, he expects a free-kick and doesn't get one. Clearly frustrated, he then lunges in on Andy Halliday with both feet up.

    Just a yellow card for the Aberdeen striker.

  7. St Mirren 2-0 Kilmarnock

    Liam Donnelly finds his namesake Polworth with a well-timed cross, but the latter's header drifts over the crossbar from close range.

    That's Killie's first chance of note. They still look stunned by St Mirren's early double.

    Unsurprisingly Derek McInnes isn't happy with what he's seen from his Kilmarnock side to this point.

    The Killie boss is soaked to the skin on the touchline, he's encouraging his players to get the ball forward more quickly, Kilmarnock are playing into the wind, but they've been unable so far to make any sort of attacking effort.

    Nicolas Kuhn, wow. What a pass that is to make the second for Celtic.

    He clips one over the Hearts defence and Daizen Maeda heads it off the right-hand post.

    But Jota is there to hammer in the rebound.

    Hearts have three goes at it but can't make the keeper work.

    James Penrice puts a close-range free-kick into the wall, it's the same for his rebound attempt, then Lawrence Shankland slices way over.

    Liam Gordon is off with a head knock, replaced by Kofi Balmer. He's gone straight into the heart of defence.

    That was absolutely clinical from Celtic.

    They looked off it for most of this game so far but the pace, movement, accuracy and execution of that goal was simply brilliant.

    Hearts will be so frustrated. They started very well and find themselves trailing.

    Moments after Martin Boyle is denied by a strong foot from Andrew Fisher, Hibs work the ball back out to the edge of the box and Junior Hoilett dances is way inside and smashes his strike into the top corner.

    St Johnstone win a free-kick in a dangerous area just to the right of the Hibs box.

    Barry Douglas fires it towards a mass of bodies but Myko Kuharevich heads it clear and Lewis Miller denies the Saints any chance of picking up the loose ball.

    A sliver of hope for you Killie fans out there...

    Just over a year ago they hosted St Mirren and were down 2-0 until the 60th minute mark, before romping to a 5-2 victory.
