GW? Anyone. If you're not playing FPL and I'm assuming that means Fantasy Premier League(?) then these acronyms mean nothing.

    Alan

Normally the early hours of the live chat are my favourite but FPL chat is really boring if you don't play FPL......

    Rob

When anyone mentions their fantasy football management decisions, I'm reminded of the scene from Red Dwarf where Rimmer attempts to regale with anecdotes from playing RISK. "Anyway I picked up the dice again… Unbelievable! Another two sixes!!!"

"Dango captain for the differential" may be too niche even for me!

Help me out, Garry. Not sure I follow.

Joe, Slot out Glasner in for table boost. Rogers out Bournemouth MF in. Dango captain for differential.

    Team game, Ed.

I'll be stepping aside soon and you lot aren't ready for the professionalism of George, Tyrese and Sarah when we have 14 news conferences and a Champions League draw all overlapping.

Joe, single handedly carrying the live feed on a dark, dreary miserable Friday (at least where I am in Staffordshire anyway!) Keep up the good work Joe!

I benched Alexander-Arnold last GW when no one in my defence got above 4 points. He got 13.

Wait, when do the player prices change again? A lot of people read these live texts, I don't want to be accused of manipulating the markets.

I'd take a punt on Ethan Nwaneri, only 4.5 million, or at least he was when I brought him in. Will probably get a lot more minutes now for Arsenal.

  9. What's coming up?published at 08:30 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February

Right now we're on FPL chat but there are 14 Premier League news conferences with the first two (Brighton and Newcastle) starting at 09:00 GMT.

Plus, at 11:00 GMT it's the Champions League last 16 draw, which we'll be streaming on this page.

Judging by the thumbs down at 08:14 GMT, I think you guys are telling me to keep hold of Mohamed Salah and Alexander Isak at all costs.

Free Hit: Make unlimited free transfers for a single Gameweek. In the next Gameweek, your squad will return to how it was at the start of the last Gameweek.

Oooh, that sounds ideal, good plan Neil! I might steal that idea too.

My FPL plan for the next few weeks is to wildcard next week after Assistant Manager chip ends, then free hit for week 29 due to Carabao Cup final. Could crash and burn but worth the risk I think.

I do, Andrej, but it says unavailable.

A quick search and I think that's because my assistant manager chip is active and in the last week of its three-week stint.

But look, I'm not on the live next week (terrible, I know) but we can plan for that too. If you want to rip my team up and give me suggestions for a new one (that's what the wild card does right?), I'm all ears.

Joe, do you still have your Wild Card chip?

Also, are you supposed to take out your Liverpool and Newcastle players for Gameweek 29, or just leave them in and accept the loss of points?

  16. Postpublished at 08:11 Greenwich Mean Time 21 February

Ah, so that week it's the Carabao Cup final, so Liverpool and Newcastle, and Aston Villa and Crystal Palace who were supposed to play them, don't have matches.

I've been burnt with Bournemouth players before. I brought in Justin Kluivert the week after he scored that hat-trick of penalties and took him out the week before he nabbed his next treble.

I imagine many of you have similar stories.

Morning Joe, Love the FPL content on a Friday morning ! You need to plan ahead for the blank game week in 29, maybe move Rogers on for a Bournemouth midfielder.

Morning Joe! Busy day today. I think the women’s nations league match for England tonight will be tricky in Portugal, come on the lionesses 🦁

    Stu in Swindon

I'm still bitter about that Women's Euros draw you referenced! How on earth do the reigning European champions, currently ranked 3rd in the World and 2nd in Europe, not end up seeded?
