  2. 'Big win for Glentoran'published at 17:10 Greenwich Mean Time 21 December

    Cliftonville 1-2 Glentoran

    Paul Leeman
Former Glentoran captain on BBC Radio Ulster

Cliftonville will be disappointed to come away with nothing for what they contributed to the game, especially in the first half but they failed to take their chances when they were on top.

Gyollai got the lifeline with that poor mistake from Odumosu and then it was a scrappy second half. The second goal was another poor mistake, the free-kick is right at him but that is a big win for Glentoran.

Glenavon completely controlled the second half and David Healy will be disappointed and relieved, but Linfield do what they always do and win when they don't play well. They will need to play much better than this on Boxing Day. It was great to see Robbie McDaid back after so long.
