Former Glentoran captain on BBC iPlayer

Glentoran totally switched off from the free-kick and they will be disappointed but credit to Cliftonville. They play the quick free-kick and it's a wicked cross from Taylor Steven. Joe Gormley, one yard out is not going to miss from there and they deserve it, they have been knocking at the door.

    Portadown 0-0 Crusaders

Steven McCullough whips in a corner for Portadown and the ball falls to Ryan Mayse outside the area. Portadown feel he is fouled but the ref waves play on and Crusaders break.

McCullough tracks back fast though and take the ball off the toe of Kieran Offord at the other end of the field.

    Paul Leeman

That's a great opportunity for Cliftonville and he really should score but take nothing away from Gyollai that was a great save.

    Cliftonville 0-0 Glentoran

Joe Gormley tees up Rory Hale, and the midfielder through ball releases Taylor Steven one-on-one with Daniel Gyollai, but the visiting stopper stands tall to deny the winger.

Biggest chance of the afternoon so far.

David Healy will be happy with Linfield's display so far but he will be looking for that second goal after the other chances they have had. Glenavon will have their spell.

A long, searching ball in-behind for Joe Gormley's run is well read by Frankie Hvid, who quells any threat as the defender plays the ball back to Daniel Gyollai to hand the Glens possession.

If it wasn't for Mark Byrne's quick reactions, Chris McKee would have had his second goal of the afternoon.

A well-worked Linfield corner is played into McKee's path just inside the box, with the striker shooting first-time with his right foot and forcing a great save from the Glenavon goalkeeper.

    Portadown 0-0 Crusaders

A well-worked play but the final product is just lacking.

Portadown’s Ryan Mayse had a free-kick in a very central position on the edge of the centre circle.

His delivery found Baris Altintop in the box and he nodded the ball to Ahu Obhakhan, but Obhakhan couldn’t get the connection needed to steer the ball goalwards.

Danny Amos's delivery from a free kick out wide is easily dealt with by the host's defence, and eventually, Taylor Steven hooks it clear.

    Linfield 1-0 Glenavon

Linfield are on top and come close to doubling their lead.

First it was Stephen Fallon who's strike from outside the box was cleared off the line by Peter Campbell.

Moments later Kirk Miller whipped a curling effort towards goal from the left which falls inches wide of the far upright.

David Healy's side are certainly in the ascendancy right now.

Ryan Mayse stands up a cross that finds the head of Ahu Obhakhan, but the ball is a bit high for Obhakhan and his headed effort is deflected wide for a corner.

The resultant corner from Steven McCullough comes to nothing.

The opening 10 minutes at Solitude have resembled two boxers circling each other in the first round, with neither wanting to commit to landing the opening blow.

Let's hope for more action as this one progresses.
