Summary

  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 13:34 British Summer Time

    Celtic 0-0 St Mirren

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

The same two sets of players retake the field at Celtic Park.

I suspect the home players won't be given too much longer to improve the performance before their manager looks to his bench.

  3. Postpublished at 13:30 British Summer Time

    HT: Hibernian 1-1 Rangers

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Scotland at Easter Road

This game certainly is not being played as an end-of-season affair. There is a desire from both sets of players that has to be complimented as other than pride there is nothing really at stake.

Rangers may well feel aggrieved a second goal wasn’t awarded just prior to the Hibs equaliser, but with honours even at half time this very entertaining game could still go either way.

  4. Postpublished at 13:28 British Summer Time

    HT: Dundee United 0-1 Aberdeen

    Jane Lewis
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

Aberdeen deserve their lead in this one, but Dundee United finished the first half strongly and threatened the Dons goal.

It's been an entertaining game, with both teams playing some lovely stuff. With only a goal in it, Dundee United will believe they can get back into the match in the second half.

Aberdeen have also been playing with confidence, though. An intriguing second 45 minutes lies ahead.

  5. HALF-TIME Dundee United 0-1 Aberdeenpublished at 13:26 British Summer Time

Jeppe Okkel's first Aberdeen goal is the difference at the break. It was a deserved opener for the visitors, who were by far the better team early on.

However, United have come right back into it and have started just launching balls into Aberdeen's box, which has kept them pinned back.

Still, it's Aberdeen who lead at the break and are on course for fourth place and a Europa League qualifying berth.

United are set to miss out on Europe.

  6. HALF-TIME Hibernian 1-1 Rangerspublished at 13:25 British Summer Time

I'm not quite sure how we've only had two goals, but that's half time at Easter Road.

That Hibs leveller is going to be a talking point. Seconds prior down the other end, it looked like a Rangers goal.

There have been other chances. Rangers might feel more aggrieved they're not in front. But neither side could be accused of being on the beach.

  7. Buddies the happier sidepublished at 13:24 British Summer Time

    HT: Celtic 0-0 St Mirren

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

St Mirren will be absolutely delighted with those first 45 minutes. They've contained Celtic without too much of a problem. Goalkeeper Zach Hemming hasn't been overly troubled.

The same is true, of course, of his opposite number Kasper Schmeichel. I suspect, however, home boss Brendan Rodgers will be demanding significantly more from his men during the interval.

I wouldn't be too surprised if he made a couple of early changes, with the likes of Hyun-Jun Yang, James Forrest and Luke McCowan all itching for the chance to impress ahead of next week's Scottish Cup final.

Rodgers won't want trophy day to fall flat. Visiting boss Stephen Robinson will have a simple message: more of the same, and it could be enough for fifth and a place in Europe.

Looking at this must feel like a fever dream for St Mirren fans.

    For the United support, though...

  9. CLOSE!published at 13:19 British Summer Time

    Dundee United 0-1 Aberdeen

It's taken a while, but United have finally sniffed out Aberdeen's weakness.

Another deep cross comes in from Vicko Sevelj and Sam Dalby gets a lovely cushioned header on to it, but the ball drifts just by the far post.

  10. HALF-TIME Celtic 0-0 St Mirrenpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time

A frustrating day for Celtic as they look to round off another title season with a victory.

For St Mirren, despite being on the back foot for much of the game, it is midway to job done and qualification for Europe.

  11. St Mirren compact and organisedpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time

    Celtic 0-0 St Mirren

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

Super stuff, defensively, from St Mirren. Bodies on the line when necessary, men marked, runners tracked.

Textbook Stephen Robinson, so far, and there's some quality on the break, too. Celtic know they're in a game.

  12. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:15 British Summer Time

    Dundee United 0-1 Aberdeen

Better from United as they pen Aberdeen in with a few deep crosses.

It falls to Sam Cleall-Harding, who leathers a low shot on target. Dimitar Mitov reacts well though to get down and make the save.

  13. Pressure finally buildingpublished at 13:15 British Summer Time

    Celtic 0-0 St Mirren

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

We've just had the first consistent bit of Celtic pressure. Several corners back to back.

Can St Mirren get to the interval level?

  14. Postpublished at 13:12 British Summer Time

    Dundee United 0-1 Aberdeen

Dundee United throw a fairly tame ball into the Aberdeen box, but quickly it becomes panic stations for the Dons.

Eventually they scramble it away. Not hard to work out what United should be trying to do here.

However, when Aberdeen have the ball they look the better side.

  15. Cracking atmospherepublished at 13:10 British Summer Time

    Dundee United 0-1 Aberdeen

    Jane Lewis
    BBC Sport Scotland at Tannadice

What a brilliant atmosphere inside Tannadice. Both sets of fans are up for this one. The noise and colour is quite fantastic.

The visiting fans are certainly making themselves heard, given the score, but the home fans are matching their efforts as they will their team back into this one.

  16. Postpublished at 13:09 British Summer Time

    Hibernian 1-1 Rangers

Another decent opportunity for Rangers as Danilo and Vaclav Cerny link up.

The ball breaks to the Czech winger on the edge of the box and he curls with his right, but it's straight at Jordan Smith.

  17. YELLOW CARDSpublished at 13:08 British Summer Time

    Hibernian 1-1 Rangers

Kieran Bowie is the first name in the book as he catches Mohamed Diomande high in a 50/50. Looks nasty, but no further punishment.

Diomande is then in the book seconds later as he hauls down the advancing Nectar Triantis as the Hibs midfielder threatened to break away.

  18. Intensity lacking from Celtic?published at 13:08 British Summer Time

    Celtic 0-0 St Mirren

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

They've won the league and have a cup final in a week's time. Perhaps it's no surprise the champions' intensity levels have dropped this afternoon.

I suspect that will be addressed at half time if there's no increase before then...

There are also plenty of substitutes who helped put five past Aberdeen in midweek who're itching to get on.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:05 British Summer Time

    Hibernian 1-1 Rangers

Big save from Jordan Smith to deny James Tavenier.

The Rangers captain strikes a free-kick from 25 yards out, curling towards the top corner, but the Hibs keeper flies through the air to palm away.

  20. Postpublished at 13:05 British Summer Time

    Dundee United 0-1 Aberdeen

Glenn Middleton rather ambitiously shoots from a free-kick which was about 35 yards out and fairly central.

In fairness, he hits the target. But it's a comfortable save for Dimitar Mitov.

If I'm a United player I'm raging he's not swung that ball in the box.
