We are back under way in our lunchtime feast,,, hopefully we can gorge on some goals in the next 45 minutes.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:35 British Summer Time

    Morecambe 1-1 Chesterfield

Two changes for Chesterfield as Armando Dobra and Jamie Grimes replace Vontae Campbell and Harvey Araujo.

  3. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 13:34 British Summer Time

    Mansfield 0-1 Birmingham

The home PA blared out The Beatles telling us all that money can't buy love, during the interval.

Quite right, but it can certainly buy quality footballers capable of mounting a title challenge, and that is exactly what Birmingham have done.

It's looking very much like they'll be saying Hello, Goodbye, to League One this season.

Can Mansfield Get Back in this game, though? Let's find out.

Aden Flint, Frazer Blake-Tracy and Lucas Akins are off the bench for the hosts at the break as Nigel Clough shuffles his pack. Elliot Hewitt, Bailey Cargill and George Maris are the players making way.

  4. Birmingham 'have dominated'published at 13:26 British Summer Time

    HT: Mansfield 0-1 Birmingham

    Ian Clarkson
Ex-Birmingham captain on BBC Radio WM

The only thing we were lacking was a second goal. Birmingham have dominated the game and got themselves ahead. They have probably created three or four very presentable opportunities.

There was one gilt-edged one from Willum Willumsson and, at the moment, it looks very good.

However, Mansfield are going to have a spell in this game, so Blues could do with that second goal.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:20 British Summer Time

    Reading 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Reading almost had the upper hand but alas, no dice. Wasted chances, big saves and a close offside keep Bristol Rovers on even terms as they head into the break.

Royals forward Sam Smith found the goal but it counted for nothing. They let Smith in but the offside flag meant they were let off the hook.

Then not long before the half-time whistle Harvey Knibbs had his own opportunity to make it 1-0 but the big figure of an in-form Josh Griffiths had him beat.

Rovers have had their own chances - most notably in Ruel Sotiriou's marginally wide effort. Can they snatch a win and leave Reading rueing their mistakes?

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time

Willum Willumsson's cool finish off the post from Keshi Anderson's pull-back inside 10 minutes is the difference at the break.

Blues have looked typically classy, bossed possession and territory but haven't created any real chances to add to their lead yet.

Mansfield have gone about their business with full commitment and all the while it's 1-0 they remain very much in the game.

  7. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time

    Reading 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Sam Smith sees the back of the net but the joy is short lived as the flag goes up. Offside.

He's then down on the ground holding his foot but he's all okay. Maybe needing to adjust his boot, maybe just needed a breather from the disappointment.

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time

    Colchester 0-0 Salford

    Well, that wasn't great.

You wouldn't quite go as far as saying poor just very uninspiring from both sides.

The closest we've come is a shot from Salford's Tyrese Fornah which Matt Macey tipped wide but it might not have been going in anyway.

Ellis Iandolo has had an effort hit the side netting for Colchester but that's it I'm afraid - it can only get better, can't it?

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 British Summer Time

    Morecambe 1-1 Chesterfield

Morecambe have probably just shaded that.

That's despite Chesterfield taking the lead through Dilan Markanday's deflected shot after just eight minutes.

But two minutes later Morecambe were level as Ben Tollitt headed home Adam Lewis's free-kick for his fourth EFL goal of the season.

Marcus Dackers found himself through late in the first-half but a heavy touch saw him forced wide and shoot into the side netting.

Chesterfield have had shouts for a penalty for handball waved away.

  10. Postpublished at 13:16 British Summer Time

    Colchester 0-0 Salford

A bit of Salford pressure in first-half injury time ends with Tyrese Fornah blasting well over the bar.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:16 British Summer Time

    Reading 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Bristol Rovers' Promise Omochere has begun to hobble around and can't play on.

Isaac Hutchinson comes on in his stead but it's not a direct replacement. There isn't one, really.

Captain Scott Sinclair moves into Omochere's place for now.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 13:15 British Summer Time

    Mansfield 0-1 Birmingham

More woe for Lyndon Dykes as he is clattered by Aaron Lewis as he passes left on the turn.

Lewis is not happy but the yellow card is straight out from Paul Howard.

Paik Seung-Ho has a crack from 25 yards after the restart but it's always rising and Christy Pym watches it over his crossbar without too much alarm.

  13. 'That was the best chance of the half'published at 13:13 British Summer Time

    Reading 0-0 Bristol Rovers

    Glen Little
Ex-Reading winger on BBC Radio Berkshire

A lovely move! Reading have played some good stuff. That was the best chance of the half; three or four lovely passes and a great little lay-off to Lewis Wing.

    It's not been a boring 0-0.

  14. Postpublished at 13:13 British Summer Time

    Mansfield 0-1 Birmingham

Jay Stansfield tries to make amends as he collects a pass from Lyndon Dykes and then scoops a pass over the defender back towards the Scotland forward.

Dykes tries to bring it under his spell with his head but the ball skids off his shaven bonce and rolls out of play to ironic jeers from the Stags faithful.

Just not going his way at the moment...

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:13 British Summer Time

    Reading 0-0 Bristol Rovers

Reading's Lewis Wing has been given a couple of tries at some set plays to no avail but his shot almost makes the difference.

Ben Elliott sends it to his friend in midfield and Wing gets a good foot to it but keeper Josh Griffiths denies him the glory.

  16. Postpublished at 13:11 British Summer Time

    Mansfield 0-1 Birmingham

Jay Stansfield collects Alex Cochrane's pull back on the edge of the area, which was intended for Lyndon Dykes, he spins and unleashes a low shot which flicks off a defender and past the post for a corner.

Dykes holds his hands out in the universal symbol for 'why did you take it off me.'

Stansfield might just have had his nine-game scoring drought in mind when he opted to do so.

  17. Postpublished at 13:10 British Summer Time

    Colchester 0-0 Salford

Colchester finally bare their teeth with some nice interplay down the left between Lyle Taylor and Ellis Iandolo but it ends with Iandolo crashing an effort into the side netting.

    Better...

  18. Postpublished at 13:09 British Summer Time

    Morecambe 1-1 Chesterfield

Oh, that's a good chance for Morecambe.

Marcus Dackers gets himself free but a heavy touch leaves the angle too narrow and it ends with a shot into the side netting.

  19. Postpublished at 13:09 British Summer Time

    Mansfield 0-1 Birmingham

All a bit scrappy, with 12 free-kicks in the opening half-hour, but Blues spring forward as Lyndon Dykes sprays the ball wide right for Willum WIllumsson.

The Icelandic international swings the ball back into the middle for Dykes to unleash a first-time shot well over the bar. His wait for a first City goal goes on. Nine games now.

  20. Postpublished at 13:07 British Summer Time

    Mansfield 0-1 Birmingham

Christoph Klarer underhits his backpass to keeper Ryan Allsop who hacks clear under pressure from the sliding stags forward Will Evans.

Referee Paul Howard blows his whistle, but the home fans are incensed as they don't think Evans touched the keeper, who crumples to the turf in a heap.

Play resumes but Evans and Allsop are still jawing away at one another.

One to keep an eye on.
