Junior Luamba's brace helped Carlisle move top of the National League with a 2-0 win over Halifax.
Jamie Cooke blasted an effort wide for Halifax early on, but the Blues went ahead through Luamba's shot in the 15th minute.
Regan Linney curled an effort around the post as Carlisle looked to extend their lead and Luamba fired over the bar after the break before Sam Johnson made the save from Chris Conn-Clarke.
Luamba wrapped up the win in the 68th minute after tapping home from a corner to secure an 11th league victory from 17 outings for the Blues.
