With the goal that sealed their 2-0 victory at Fulham on Saturday, Daniel Munoz continued his fine form in both defence and attack for Crystal Palace, who are aiming back-to-back top-half finishes in the Premier League this season.
It was the Colombia international's third goal involvement in four league matches, having bagged assists for Oliver Glasner's side in the defeat to Brentford and the 2-0 win at Manchester United.
Munoz, who also scored his first Premier League goal in a last-gasp 1-1 draw against Newcastle United in November, was also on the scoresheet in a 2-2 draw against champions Manchester City.
Glasner's arrival at Selhurst Park has greatly helped the 28-year-old wing-back, who joined from Genk in the 2024 January transfer window.
Except for the visit to Brighton when he was suspended for accumulating five yellow cards, he has played every minute for the Eagles in the league starting with 21 October's 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest.
While Tyrick Mitchell and Ben Chilwell are set to battle for the left wing-back role at the club for the remainder of the season, there is no doubt it will be the Colombian who will be assigned those duties along Palace's opposite wing for the foreseeable future.

Crystal Palace have won four consecutive top-flight away games for the first time. It is also the first time the Eagles have ever won four consecutive away league games without conceding.
No team have kept more away clean sheets in the Premier League this season than the Eagles (6 - level with Liverpool). Six is their second most in a single campaign in the competition, after 1994-95 (7).
'A great performance and result'published at 17:27 22 February

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner, talking to BBC Match of the Day: "All of the credit goes to the players again, they worked so hard for this win and they were very disciplined. We didn't give them clear chances.
"We were very compacted and waited for the chances. We defended as a team - it was a great performance and result.
"We don't know the reason for winning more away than at home. It is the same approach. I think it is important that we don't always talk about winning at home. Whenever we're talking we are speaking about increasing our chances of winning and it is the same approach at home. That is the only thing we do.
"If we think 'we have to win, we have to win' you're not thinking about what you're doing on the pitch. You're not disciplined, we know we can score goals all over the pitch and we can be very tough to play against - especially when we defend like we did today."

Sutton's predictions: Fulham v Crystal Palacepublished at 11:23 22 February

I find both these teams impossible to predict so, let's face it, anything could happen here.
Crystal Palace lost to Everton last week but actually played pretty well.
I talked about how Fulham have struggled at home recently but then they went and beat Nottingham Forest at Craven Cottage.
My instinct tells me to go for a draw but I actually think Fulham will make it back-to-back home wins - so Palace will probably end up taking the points.
Glasner on Eze fitness, Fulham's Traore and home recordpublished at 15:17 21 February

Sean Byrne BBC Sport researcher
Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has been speaking to the media before Saturday's Premier League game at Fulham (kick-off 15:00 GMT).
Here are the key lines from his news conference:
On Eberechi Eze's return: "It was a good week for him personally, and he's getting better and better with his foot. I think he's ready to start."
Glasner confirmed the rest of the team news was "the same as last week": "All players are fit, everyone trained the whole week. It's good."
When asked how his side would handle Fulham winger Adama Traore, he said: "Both Tyrick Mitchell and Ben Chilwell have the quality to defend Adama Traore. Even with his pace and power, then he crosses, and then we have to defend the box against Raul Jimenez, Emile Smith Rowe... So it's not just him. It's a team effort."
Glasner celebrated one year with the club on Wednesday, but he said: "I had no time to reflect on Wednesday. Wednesday is always a busy day preparing for the weekend. There was a lot to do this week and, to be honest, I'm always looking to the next game, which is more important than the anniversary."
On his side having a better record away than at home, he said: "We talked about it with the players. I remember when I joined it was an issue that Crystal Palace always conceded late goals. I said OK, let's not talk about it because then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, and this is the same. Our approach is always the same, but it does look like we make more mistakes at home."

Glasner 'a massive upgrade' but 'stymied by middling recruitment'published at 13:42 19 February

We asked for your views on Oliver Glasner's first year at Selhurst Park.
We wanted to know your favourite moments and what you would like to see him achieve in his next year at the club.
Here are some of your comments:
Michael: A breath of fresh air compared with the turgid displays during Roy Hodgson final era. It has been a delight to watch fast-flowing, attacking football under Glasner, and to see younger players get a chance and visibly improve. I wish we could be more aggressive and clinical - we don't score enough given the chances we get - but that's not his fault. The board needs to continue backing Glasner. He has obviously got the players and fans behind him. I hope we can replicate how we performed at the end of last season and win something.
Matt: He is a massive upgrade on any of the managers we have had since promotion. He has us in a clear style of play. After losing Michael Olise in the summer, questions were raised but he has answered them. If - and it is a big if - we back him in the summer, a comfortable top-10 finish and even maybe pushing for Europe would be nice. But, as always, 17th is fine as well!
Sam: In general, this has been a very positive year. Glasner has helped raise our ambitions and he clearly wants to fight for every match. His changes during matches are generally far more effective than any manager we have had for years. It is a shame this season has been affected by middling recruitment and unfortunate injuries, but we are still in with a shout of a top-half finish. A cup win would take the club to the next level!
Tom: I have been very happy with Glasner's management of the team. Our away form has been phenomenal under him, but there is definite room for improvement when it comes to playing at home. I think we will improve next season in this respect. If we strengthen in the summer, I think we will have a very good squad.
Stephen: He is without doubt one the best managers I've seen at Crystal Palace. His progress has clearly been stymied by late signings, causing a poor start to this season and a failure to properly replace Olise. The team is still inconsistent as a result, and it must be incredibly frustrating for him. There are constant rumours about Marc Guehi, Eberechi Eze, Adam Wharton and others being sold, which must be very unsettling. He is certainly a manager who could take us to Europe, but he needs to be properly backed to do so, otherwise I can see him leaving for a club where he will be.

Following their 2-0 win at Selhurst Park in November, Fulham are looking to complete the league double over Crystal Palace for the first time since the 2000-01 second-tier campaign under Jean Tigana.
Palace are now winless in their past six against the Whites (D4 L2). The Eagles are, however, unbeaten in their past five at Craven Cottage (W2 D3).
'No question Eze has the quality and deserves chance at the top level'published at 12:22 19 February

One of the big surprises at the beginning of the season was that Eberechi Eze was still a Crystal Palace player.
The 26-year-old had just been a part of the England squad that reached the final of Euro 2024 and a Palace squad that ended the last campaign winning six of their last seven games.
However, it was team-mate Michael Olise that got the big money move to Bayern Munich leaving Eze at the time, as the sole and main creative spark of Palace's attack.
In the summer chairman Steve Parish said he was "astounded" that no concrete bids were made.
Eze has a release clause of £60m, plus around £7m in add-ons, in his contract and that kicks in again this summer.
During the last transfer window Palace would have been willing to negotiate if the right offer was made for Eze, because of their relationship with the player and the ambitions he has to play at the top level.
This season has been difficult for him, he hasn't scored in his last six games but he has got three assists in that time.
Glasner has cut a frustrated figure at times on the touchline when Eze has slowed down attacks which is in contrast to the fast direct football the manager likes to play.
There's no question that Eze has the quality and deserves the chance to play at the top level.
But a run of form from now until the end of the season would ease the frustration building for some supporters and would help him get the move that he dreams of.
Glasner reaches one year at Selhurst Park - what's your review?published at 12:07 19 February
The 50-year-old is no longer the new kid on the block - and despite setting expectations low on his arrival by telling supporters "I'm no magician" in his first news conference, he has certainly had an impact at Selhurst Park.
Glasner got off to a flying start in his first match in charge, with a 3-0 home win over Burnley on 24 February 2024, but then a tough run of games followed which saw the Eagles go without a win in five Premier League matches.
But after a 1-0 win over Liverpool on 14 April 2024, Palace finally looked to be improving under their new manager. That result sparked a run of six wins in seven matches to finish off the 2023-24 Premier League season.
And it turned out to be a season to remember, as the Eagles recorded their second-ever top-half Premier League finish, their highest-ever goals tally and their joint-best points tally.
Naturally, the fans started dreaming of European football again - and there were some big expectations for the 2024-25 season - but the team failed to deliver in their opening run of fixtures, winning just one of their first 11 league games.
The 1-0 home win against Tottenham on 27 October 2024 seemed to ignite some ambition back into their season, with the Eagles taking six wins and six draws from their next 16 Premier League matches.
Glasner's team have also been enjoying themselves outside of the league, reaching the Carabao Cup quarter-finals for the first time since 2011-12 and progressing to the FA Cup fifth round for the first time in three years.
After 44 matches in charge, Glasner has 19 wins, 12 draws and 13 defeats in all competitions. His 43.1% win percentage is the highest of any Palace manager who has managed the club exclusively in the top flight.
Crystal Palace fans, how have you found the first year under Glasner? What have been your favourite moments so far? And what would you like to see him achieve in his next year at the club?
How do Eze's stats compare with previous seasons?published at 08:09 19 February
08:09 19 February
Phil Cartwright BBC Sport journalist
In some metrics, Eberechi Eze's statistics during his fifth season with Crystal Palace are better than any of his four previous campaigns at Selhurst Park.
Per 90 minutes played in the Premier League, Eze has registered more assists, created more chances and made more big chances for his side than in any other season since he joined Palace in 2020.
However, Eze's goals output has dropped considerably this season compared with the previous two, when he reached double figures for Premier League goals.
His average of 0.11 goals per 90 minutes played in the league this season is the lowest of any of his five seasons with Palace, including an injury-disrupted 2021-22 campaign.
Meanwhile, Eze's dribble success rate in 2024-25 (44.94%) is also his lowest in a season with Palace.

We asked you if Crystal Palace should keep or sell Eberechi Eze in the summer.
Here are some of your comments:
Bill: I don't think Eze has been the same since his last injury. He seems casual, lacking urgency and can be incredibly frustrating to watch on occasion. That said, he is capable of the sublime sometimes. It's whether it's frequent enough or not for me. I say sell while the going is good.
Ethel: Utter nonsense! Eze is clearly a Palace great and the notion of selling him is counter productive and awful. We should be building a team around our best players not pandering to the entitled clubs.
Peter: It depends how Esse shapes up. If he is as good as his potential I think he will be more suited to Glasner's style of play and then selling him for a sizeable profit makes sense.
Stephen: Eze has not regained full fitness this season, so it's not surprising that his contribution is being questioned. But he is 27, and he deserves a chance to fulfil his potential elsewhere before it's too late. It will be sad to see such a fine player leave, but that's football.
Andy: Eze is always going to be a valuable player to Palace, although this is not recognised by all supporters saying he is lazy and doesn't pull his weight. Just by him being on the pitch he creates space for other players, but as a team we don't take our chances.
Theo: I think we should get the money (around £60m-£70m) and then use it on another few good players or talented youngsters. Eze is very good but I'm just starting to get the feel that he's not quite understanding Glasner's system.
A difficult wing-back decision awaitspublished at 17:07 18 February

Oliver Glasner has a big call to make at left wing-back ahead of Crystal Palace's trip to Fulham on Saturday.
Marco Silva's side are flying high and are just five points off the Champions League places in the Premier League table.
The Eagles suffered a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Everton last time out but there was one positive which may lead Glasner to make a change.
Tyrick Mitchell has been a solid and dependable defender for Crystal Palace since his debut in 2020.
He has been a mainstay of the Palace side since then and this is his fifth season as the Eagles first choice left back.
Glasner has spoken about how he would like Mitchell to attack more but acknowledged that his strength is in defending and that the 25-year-old is different to all out attacking wing-back Daniel Munoz on the other side.
Mitchell did not have his best game in the defeat to Everton and was replaced by Chelsea loanee Ben Chilwell.
The England international constantly looked to get forward after his introduction and had an effort saved by Jordan Pickford in the second half.
Chilwell is more inclined to run forward and attack but like Mitchell, Glasner pointed out the part of his game that he would like him to work on.
The Palace manager said he spoke to Chilwell about his defensive positioning after his debut in the FA Cup fourth round win over Doncaster.
Chilwell may be more suited to the attacking role he wants from his wing-backs but with Fulham full of confidence, it may well be that Mitchell's solidity will be more suited against a team that is in good form.
Either way, Glasner has a difficult call to make but he will be happy to have such options.
Franca continues injury comeback in Palace U21 winpublished at 11:24 18 February

Matheus Franca continued his journey to full fitness as he played about an hour of Crystal Palace Under-21s' 3-0 win over Aston Villa.
Things in south London have not been ideal for Franca, who has made just 13 appearances since signing from Flamengo in the summer of 2023 - a deal that was worth in the region of £20m.
He made his first senior appearance of this season as a stoppage-time substitute in the 2-0 win over Doncaster in the fourth round of the FA Cup earlier this month.
Manager Oliver Glasner said Franca needed minutes and he was named in the starting line-up on Monday as the young Eagles side ran out comfortable winners.
It is always hard for first-team players coming down to what is effectively an academy side, and Franca has the added difficulty of having not played much football in the past year.
He was quiet at times in the first half but showed some nice touches. In one particular piece of play he closed down the Villa defence well before releasing a good pass into the area, which ended with a Palace shot and Franca almost getting on to the rebound.
The 20-year-old was brighter after the break. Perhaps knowing he was scheduled to play 60 minutes and not having to worry about tiring, he showed flashes of quality.
He had a shot blocked early in the second period, before he later cut in from the left and curled a good effort just wide with the keeper scrambling.
Franca showed a couple of times on the ball why there was so much excitement about his signing, but he needs more minutes before he can be expected to be a key part of Glasner's first team.
'Eze subplot developing at Palace'published at 08:47 18 February

There is an Eberechi Eze subplot developing at Crystal Palace.
In isolation, he is a supremely talented attacking midfielder who has directly contributed to the club's goalscoring record this season and past. He has taken the most shots and created the most chances for others.
The counterpoint to that is that he is not fully suited to Oliver Glasner's half-winger roles or can lack the urgency in possession that the Austrian may desire.
If Eze does not yet qualify as a club great, he is certainly falling into the 'very good' category within club history. Without the words or space to delve into that in any depth, he has often been most successful as the 'second' guy - to Wilfried Zaha and Michael Olise - only to find himself elevated to the prime position this season.
That does not take away from what he can do and has produced, but it is easier to understand why he struggled more before the emergence of Ismaila Sarr opposite him.
There are two reasons Palace need him to excel and perform at his height to close the season: the results that would follow and, of course, inflating any potential sale price.
The Eze sale valuation in the eyes of chairman Steve Parish compared with the fans may well differ by £15-20m. Yet, even if another team offered the lower end of that figure, it would be a sizable contribution to the squad's development.
Eze also deserves the chance to experience and test himself at the highest standard and level, much as he did to represent England this past summer.
As he turns 27 this summer, the window to do so may close quickly. It is almost a stick or twist situation.
With him seeking full fitness and a return to the starting XI in due course, he can be the difference in tight games such as Saturday, but in terms of his future, he feels like another moving part in a complex Palace machine.
Crystal Palace 1-2 Everton - the fans' verdictpublished at 10:00 17 February

We asked for your thoughts after Saturday's Premier League game between Crystal Palace and Everton.
Here are some of your comments:
Crystal Palace fans:
Miles: Every game against Everton over the past four seasons could be summed up in one sentence: how did we lose that? Always seem to dominate against them but completely implode. A true curse. Don't think there's a more frustrating fixture as a Palace fan.
Pedro: Typical Palace - one step forward, two steps backwards. A naive and rather clueless performance. Mitchell's a liability, Mateta's excellent, Eze's lazy. Too many gaps. Very frustrating.
Mark: A game we should not have lost, as Glasner said. Had the better chances and should have scored one or two more goals. The first goal was a freak mistake and the second one we struggled to get the ball clear. Very avoidable. Not sure why we can't play as well at home.
Bill: That Selhurst Park is a tough place to come to is an embarrassing myth. We give points away like Christmas presents. I despair of ever seeing a decent game there. It's like groundhog day with Palace playing pretty football up to the final third when they then play like a park team. Away fans are lucky because it's like a different (better) team play then.
Everton fans:
Martin: Some things just work well together. Cheese and pickle. Pork and apple. Moyes and Everton. Get in there. Great team effort. Great three points. Onwards and upwards.
Mark: David Moyes has given the players and fans the belief that we are unstoppable, and it's making a huge difference on the pitch. Even when Palace pulled level and at times were on top, there was always the belief we would get full points. Closer to Europe than relegation, so now it's time to enjoy the rest of the season - our last season at Goodison.
Sean: I just love watching Everton play again. The passion, the drive, the heart - it's all there. Those players look like they would run through walls for this club, and that's what we're all about. It feels like proper Everton again.
Jeff: Beto was absolutely fantastic. Working his boots off from the first till the last minute. It makes you wonder: where would we have been in the league table if he had started every match instead of Dominic Calvert-Lewin? Our first priority should be to renew Beto's contract. He is happy now and the fans love him!
