Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has been speaking to the media before Saturday's Premier League game against Brentford (kick-off 15:00 BST).
Here are the key lines from his news conference:
Nathan Ake is sidelined because of injury and is not expected to return until after the next international break. Guardiola added: "Every time he goes there he comes back injured."
He confirmed Phil Foden and Rodri are available but he will assess Erling Haaland "physically and mentally" on Saturday to see if he can play following a personal bereavement.
On the upcoming hearing over the 115 charges for alleged breaches of Premier League financial rules: "An independent panel will decide and I am looking forward to the decision. We will accept the sentence. I know what people are expecting as it’s what I’ve read for many years. Everyone is innocent until guilt is proven."
He dismissed that he and his players have spoken about the situation and added: "I am not a lawyer. Erling is not a lawyer."
On the condensed upcoming fixture schedule during which City play twice in three games: "It is going to happen many times when teams play in all competitions. We're not going to change; the meetings are useless."
He said he "decided" to play the Carabao Cup tie against Watford on the Tuesday, two days after playing Arsenal, to prioritise rest in preparation for Newcastle the following Saturday.
On whether the same players can play two games in three days: "Hopefully not but I don't know if we have 20 players available who can do it. I will try to avoid it but hopefully the guys who didn't play against Arsenal are going to play against Watford."
