Lando Norris tells his pit wall his soft tyres are hurting now. The Briton is nine seconds behind leader Max Verstappen but he'll still make the podium in COTA, while his team-mate Oscar Piastri has to watch on from fifth.
The advantage Max Verstappen holds over Charles Leclerc is seven seconds, but the Dutchman is having to look after his soft tyre, while Leclerc on his mediums can push a little bit more. Lando Norris in third, meanwhile, has dropped back slightly on the Monegasque driver after their earlier battle.
Oscar Piastri hasn't been able to mount a challenge on the Ferrari of Lewis Hamilton, so it looks like the Australian is going to end his day in fifth place. He'll stay on top of the drivers' championship heading to Mexico next week, but the pressure is certainly on with only a few races left.
The news of Lando Norris' tyre issue has reached the Red Bull pit wall and Max Verstappen is told his rival is struggling - so keep an eye on your seven-lap old soft rubber. The Dutchman is seven seconds clear of Norris and six free of the medium-clad Charles Leclerc.
The McLaren phone is ringing and it's Lando Norris making the call - his soft tyres are gone. That's good news for Ferrari and Charles Leclerc, who is riding around on his medium rubber in second place.
Gabriel Bortoleto down in 19th and last place place - we lost Carlos Sainz early doors - is the only driver to make two stops in this race. Max Verstappen is six seconds clear of Charles Leclerc at the front and he's heading for another weekend Grand Slam at COTA.
Alex Albon is the latest driver to be shown a black and white flag, but the Williams man is down in 16th place and out of the points, so not as exciting as one of the front cars getting one.

We are going to get an overtake attempt from Norris on Leclerc in a moment, he is lapping a second a lap quicker than him. Leclerc has gone from a soft to a medium and Lando has gone from a medium to the softs, he's also gone longer on his tyres. He's now going to hopefully make fast work of Charles Leclerc and see if he can close the gap on Max Verstappen.
Lando Norris twitches as he chases down Charles Leclerc once again. The McLaren driver has to be careful now, as he's already been given a black and white flag for track limits. The two drivers are also on opposite tyres: Leclerc on the mediums, Norris on the softs.

We will get a radio message. That is unbelievable, I don't know what happened. Tsunoda decided to chop across Bearman. Bearman has had a fine weekend and he will be annoyed with that.
Oliver Bearman is on the tail of Yuki Tsunoda but as he tries his chances on the outside of the Red Bull, Tsunoda darts suddenly to defend, sending the Haas driver off the track. The Briton says the Japanese driver moved under braking on the team radio. Tsunoda is seventh, Bearman is down to ninth.
The trend in McLaren is that the second pit stop is slower than the first and that's what has scuppered Norris and led to the big switcharoo thing in Monza. It's not been the same dramatic extent today but still it is a much slower stop for Norris.
Max Verstappen makes the change to the soft tyres and heads out still in the lead of this race. George Russell is also told to box by Mercedes. The Singapore Grand Prix winner joins the others on the softs and comes out behind the McLaren of Oscar Piastri in sixth place.
