Antrim's poor Football League Division Four form continued on Sunday with a nine-point defeat by Tipperary at the Semple Stadium in Thurles.

Tipp led 2-9 to 1-6 at the interval but the Saffrons recovered to trail by just three points before a penalty gave the home side a 3-12 to 1-12 advantage.

The home side extended their advantage for a comfortable winning margin.

Liam Bradley's side now have just two points from their opening five games and their hopes of promotion are over.
