Gareth Maybin finished in a tie for 13th position on five under par at the Ballantine's Championship in Seoul, South Korea.

The Ballyclare golfer completed a third round of level-par 72 on Sunday, as rain had prevented him finishing his round on Saturday, and then carded a final round of three-under 69.

Shane Lowry and Damien McGrane also ended on five under but Michael Hoey was well back on 13 over.

England's Lee Westwood won on 12 under.

Westwood finished one shot ahead of fellow Ryder Cup player Miguel Angel Jimenez, with Sang-hyun Park a further shot behind in third.

Hoey had begun the tournament promisingly with rounds of 71 and 74 but two closing rounds of 78 saw him fall back towards the bottom of the field.

McGrane led on six under after the first round but was unable to maintain enough consistency to challenge and he posted a final-round 71.

Paul McGinley finished on five over.

Maybin's steady performance follows a 10th-place finish at the Volvo China Open last week.
