Scotland's Richie Ramsay recovered from dropping four shots in the space of two holes to claim a dramatic victory at the Trophee Hassan II in Morocco.

The Aberdonian carded a bogey-free back nine to pip Frenchman Romain Wattel.

Ramsay sat on seven-under alongside fellow Scot Andrew McArthur and Wattel going into the last round.

Wattel stayed on his tail on the final day, but Ramsay's 69 put him in the lead at 10 under and he anxiously watched Wattel finish one back.

Ireland's Kevin Phelan and England's Chris Wood took a share of third on eight under, while two more Englishmen, Richard Bland and Ben Evans joined Spain's Jose Maria Olazabal among a group of five on seven under.

McArthur carded a five-over 77 to finish eight shots off the lead.
