Welsh golfer Amy Boulden admits her Solheim Cup aspirations are all but over despite making the cut and for the Ladies European Masters.

Boulden, 22, was looking to impress under the watchful eye of Solheim captain Carin Koch at the Buckinghamshire Golf Club.

She thought she had missed the cut after shooting a two over par 74 second round.

"I think Solheim is out the window," she said.

"I'll need a win and get a top five at least to have any chance of making it now, but you never know."

But with the scoring kind to Boulden, she will now have another two days to make a move up the field from two over par.

Becky Morgan is the leading Welsh player after shooting a one under par 71 second round.

She is seven shots behind leader, England's Alex Peters, who is three shots ahead of overnight leader Sophie Giquel-Bettan of France who dropped to third.

Welsh golfers Sasha Hassan and Becky Brewerton both missed the cut.
