Patrick Cantlay is the United States fifth pick. I wonder if he'll be sporting a team cap this time around?
Cameron Young: "Playing for your country is very special. I can't wait to get out there.
"My dad puts in just as many hours into my golf as I do. He is with me every step of the way. To get the opportunity to represent my country and play at a Ryder Cup is something we have both dreamed of.
"Making any one of this teams it is such an achievement but for me this Ryder Cup in particular in New York is so special to me."
Keegan Bradley on Cameron Young: "Cam has been one of the most consistent players on the tour for the last four or five years.
"He's a New Yorker. He won the New York Open at Bethpage Black as an amateur, set the course record with 64.
"He pounds the golf ball and he's putting as good as he's ever putted in his career.
"He's had nine top 12 finishes, which shows you how consistent he's been.
"We're proud to have a New Yorker on our team."
That's two rookies selected on the trot for the United States.
Cameron Young is Keegan Bradley's fourth captain's pick.
Young is a big hitting New Yorker who set the Bethpage course record in a state championship.
He has also been in superb form since winning his first PGA Tour title at the Wyndham Championship earlier in August.
Keegan Bradley on Ben Griffin: "Ben is an extremely confident and exciting player.
"He's burst onto the scene this year with 10 top 10s, only second to Scottie in our team, including two wins.
"I'm proud of this player. To make our team he had to show all year that he was playing at this level and he was consistent the entire year. We're lucky to have him on this team."
Ben Griffin will make his Ryder Cup debut for the United States.
Keegan Bradley on Collin Morikawa: "Collin is one of the most genuine, thoughtful people I've ever met.
"He's an incredible team-mate, an incredible ball striker and his golf resume speaks for itself.
"More importantly, he'll do whatever it takes to help our team win."
Collin Morikawa: "There is definitely not less pressure there is always more pressure and that is what we encompass every day.
"With that we say pressure is a privilege. As a team pressure is something we can overcome and we will use that as a positive.
"Obviously being at home will be helpful.
"At the end of the day you have to play great golf. All 12 of us are going to be very close. No matter what happens you have to hit great shots and make great putts and use everyone around you."
Collin Morikawa is also a two-time major champion and former world number two.
He finished eighth in qualifying. But the 28-year old-Californian has been patchy at best ever since he blew the chance to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational in March.
Still he was very much an expected pick.
Collin Morikawa is named as the second US captain's pick.
Justin Thomas: "The captain has done a great job of choosing the team and with those who has qualified everyone is here for a reason.
"I would say just be ready when we get there and enjoy it because it will be a pretty wild week."
Keegan Bradley on Justin Thomas: "Justin is the heartbeat of our team. He had an amazing win at RBC this year and he's the fifth-ranked player in the world.
"This guy was born to play Ryder Cups and specifically at Bethpage Black."
That felt a pretty nailed on selection. JT is a two-time major winner wand was seventh on the US points list.
Justin Thomas is selected as "the heartbeat of the United States team".
The time has come...
Keegan Bradley is eulogising about the automatic qualifiers in the United States team at the moment.
But it's very much nearly time for him to name his final six picks.

It is just very difficult to see how they can make this [Keegan Bradley picking himself] work and the workload on the vice captains will be immense.
It is standing room only at Keegan Bradley's press conference.
Thankfully you can watch all the build up to the announcement right now live at the top of this page.
It's largely expected that Keegan Bradley will select the number seven and eighth-placed players on the United States points list - Justin Thomas and Collin Morikawa.
Both recently attended a players dinner hosted by Bradley.
The next six on the list are then Ben Griffin, Maverick McNealy, Brian Harman, Andrew Novak, Cameron Young and Bradley himself.
However, there were reports that the likes of Sam Burns has been told he will be selected.
And Bradley's six picks are not necessarily about picking the highest ranked players but also choosing those who will complement the others in his side.
Keegan Bradley's play this season has delivered quite a conundrum.
Many in the United States including President Donald Trump, who plans to attend the first of three days of competition at Bethpage Black on 26 September believe he would be a great playing selection.
However, the likes of Europe's Rory McIlroy recently said he does not believe it is possible to combine the roles of player and captain, given the sheer volume of tasks placed at your door.
