Football manager and King of the Jungle Harry Redknapp is at Cheltenham today - and he has a runner.

Redknapp owns Shakem Up'Arry, trained by Ben, Pauling, who runs in the Trustatrader Plate (16:10).

The horse is named after a spectator who used to offer him advice...

"I used to have a guy stand behind me at West Ham when I was manager," said Redknapp.

"For 90 minutes, he'd shout right behind my dugout: 'Shake 'em up, 'Arry, shake 'em up, 'Arry'"

Of course, Cheltenham is not solely about the horses for a lot of people.

It is about the glitz and the glamour.

    The celebs and the threads...

A bad week for Nicky Henderson continues to get worse.

The Lambourn legend has pulled a host of stars out of the Festival this week, including Gold Cup hope Shishkin, because of concerns about the stable's form.

This morning, Henderson announced two more of his hopes - Sir Gino and Shanagh Bob - will not run tomorrow in the Triumph Hurdle and Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdles respectively.

"Both horses appear to be in great shape but we cannot ignore the performance of all our horses throughout this week," Henderson wrote on social media.

"It would be crazy to chance it with two very high-class young horses with their lives in front of them."

This will mean a lot to Dan. Grey Dawning deserves this and this horse has done very little wrong all season

Is this the day where the Brits bounce back?

Ireland haven't not had a winner on St Patrick's Thursday since 2010, mind, so the home fans can't get too excited yet.

    A long way to go.

But the relief of the Brits was audible in the reception which Grey Dawning and Harry Skelton received when they arrived in the winners enclosure.

    Loud and joyous.

What a tremendous performance from Grey Dawning. There is confidence running through Harry's veins after that double yesterday. He didn't miss a beat on this horse.

Harry Cobden gave Ginny's Destiny a beautiful attacking ride but Grey Dawning is a classy individual.

The Skeltons brought this horse along gently and he has showcased what a talented performer he is.

"He was great today. Dan got the right race, there was a long discussion about it.

"Everything went perfect. He pinged down over the last two. He's a really good horse."
