Liverpool will "cope fine" without Luis Suarez but Samuel Eto'o is not the man to replace the Uruguayan, according to former Reds player Jan Molby.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has spent over £100m since losing Suarez to Barcelona, but Molby thinks another striker is needed in order to provide cover for Daniel Sturridge.
"I wouldn't be a big fan of taking Samuel Eto'o at this stage of his career," Molby tells the Liverpool Echo., external "The owners have been strong about the profile of the players the club signs. They need to be a certain age with a re-sale value."

It's official. Twelve hours after news leaked that Tony Pulis had left Crystal Palace, the London club finally confirm the news on their website.
A Palace statement reads:, external "Crystal Palace can confirm that Tony Pulis has left the club by mutual consent with immediate effect.
"Keith Millen will be in temporary charge of the team for our opening Premier League game against Arsenal on Saturday. Manchester City have signed up a key member of the staff brought into Manchester United by David Moyes, according to the Daily Mail., external
James Smith was Everton's head of technical scouting from 2003 under Moyes, who lured him in January to oversee a revamping of United's scouting system.
The report adds: "Smith was a casualty of Moyes' sacking in April and City officials moved swiftly to recruit him, appointing him their European scout. He was spotted working for City at Liverpool's 4-0 friendly victory over Borussia Dortmund at Anfield last Sunday."

Hull City manager Steve Bruce is putting the record straight on transfer rumours surrounding his club.
Bruce has been linked with Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck and Hamburg's former Tottenham player Rafael van der Vaart in the wake of Shane Long's move to Southampton.
He says he is looking for "three or four" new signings - but not Welbeck or Van der Vaart. "We have irons in the fire for an instant replacement," adds Bruce.
Arsene Wenger on new £30m signing Alexis Sanchez: "He has all the ingredients to be a Premier League player. He is hungry to adapt. But I'm happy with all the players I have signed. They have integrated with the team very well."
