We asked whether Newcastle manager Alan Pardew deserves more time in charge of the club. Here are some of your opinions from the BBC Sport Facebook, external page.

Shaun Nicholson:, external He isn't being judged over four games, he is being judged on his full time at Newcastle, and to be honest, it's beyond me how he still has a job.

Jay Fletcher:, external Considering it's still only September, definitely give him time. Otherwise Van Gaal would have been sacked last week.

Chris Hills:, external Give Newcastle some credit, they have given him several years including a couple of bad seasons but kept faith in him. However, with so little success changing manager is fair enough at this point.

Andrew Davison:, external Collectively the squad are to blame but Pardew is incompetent and should have gone ages ago and the same is true for Ashley. Get rid of everybody and start from scratch.
