  2. Roy Hodgson's top three - have your saypublished at 08:39 Greenwich Mean Time 13 January 2015

So, well done to everyone who picked up a gong last night.

However, Roy Hodgson has attracted much of the attention on social media after the England boss omitted Ronaldo and Messi from his top three in the vote.

Instead, Hodgson named former Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano as his pick for the world's best player of 2014, ahead of Germany duo Philipp Lahm and Neuer.

Hodgson was one of just two coaches to put Mascherano in top spot - the other being Belarus boss Andrei Zygmantovitch.

So, we want your thoughts on why Hodgson voted the way he did? Is he right to opt for graft over flair, or does his selection suggest an error of judgement?
