  5. Arsenal news conferencepublished at 10:06 Greenwich Mean Time 30 January 2015

More from Arsene Wenger's morning news conference.

On the future of striker Joel Campbell, who joined Villarreal on loan for the rest of the season as part of the deal that brought Gabriel to the club: "Joel Campbell has extended his contract. He will go there because he needed games. I believe that here, things are a bit obstructed for him, because there are too many players in the same position.

"For six months, he worked very hard every day, and didn't get enough chances to play, so I wanted to give him the chance to continue to get experience at the top level."

On whether Arsenal can now go on a winning run: "That's our target. We want complete focus and commitment, and to be completely concentrated on what we want to achieve.

"We know we have some ground to make up. The fight around the top four is very difficult, so the target is consistency now."

    Reporter: Emmanuel Adebayor?

Redknapp: I don't see that happening. He's an excellent player - you don't play for Arsenal, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Tottenham if you're not. I wouldn't see him leaving Tottenham - it's too expensive a deal for us. We're looking for loans. I' don't know if he is available on loan."

    Reporter: Dani Osvaldo?

Redknapp: "No. Nothing there. That's not because of the baggage of his history at Southampton - he's a good player. We couldn't afford him basically. He's on big, big wages. I think there are options in Italy for him."
