    AC Milan have announced the signing of Luca Antonelli, external from fellow Serie A club Genoa. The left-back "has signed a contract until June 30 2018 and he'll wear the number 31 jersey," the club said.

    Parma centre-back Gabriel Paletta is also set to sign for the 2007 Champions League winners. The Argentina-born Italy international is currently undergoing a medical.

    West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis says he has been distracted by the closure of the transfer window - so much so that he says he was partly responsible for Saturday's 3-0 defeat by Spurs.

    Pulis questioned whether he had given as much as he could leading up to the game after "working really hard" to try and bring players in.

    "I have to look at myself and say 'have I given it as much as I could have given it this week?'" said Pulis, who has already signed Wigan winger Callum McManaman. "Or have there been other things that have pulled me away from the most important thing - getting the players prepared for a game on Saturday?"

    Few reports claiming Burnley have bid for West Brom's Graham Dorrans. Maybe Pulis is going to have a busy one?
