    Speaking of Euro 2016, what about home nation France? Well, they look to be in pretty good shape - according to French daily L'Equipe, "Les Bleus have something in reserve."

    That's on the back of an impressive 2-0 friendly win against Denmark,, external which saw Lyon's Alexandre Lacazette grab a first international goal, with Arsenal's Olivier Giroud adding the second.

    L'Equipe also looks at Sebastian Vettel's win in the Malaysian Grand Prix, saying it "totally relaunches the interest in Formula 1".

    A look at the European back pages now and we start in Spain where Marca's, external headlines are all about Real Madrid's Gareth Bale.

    The Welsh midfielder has had plenty of stick for his performances in La Liga this season but he showed what he is capable of as he scored two goals to help his country to a 3-0 win over Israel and into pole position to qualify for Euro 2016.

    Potentially alarming news for Liverpool fans on the back page of the Daily Mail - the paper suggests that Raheem Sterling could reject a new deal at Anfield.

    The paper's football news correspondent Neil Ashton writes:, external "Negotiations with Sterling have reached yet another impasse and it is understood that even if Liverpool offer £180,000 a week he will not sign."

    There's also a line on Harry Kane - the Mail suggests that the striker himself will get the final say on whether he represents England under-21s at this summer's European Championships.

    The Telegraph leads on Sebastian Vettel's shock victory at the Malaysian Grand Prix.

    The paper's Formula 1 correspondent Daniel Johnson writes:, external "With a flash of brilliance, of scintillating speed, Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari in an instant lifted the cloud the sport has been under by winning the Malaysian Grand Prix."

    There is also a picture of Australia batsman David Warner, part of the team who lifted the Cricket World Cup yesterday after beating New Zealand in the final.

    Let's have a look at this morning's back pages. The Sun looks ahead to England's friendly against Italy tomorrow evening, revealing that Wayne Rooney has unveiled a new winning formula for the team.

    The skipper says England will get "aggressive" against opponents who beat them at last summer's World Cup - but despite that teasing headline, there is no clue on whether Spurs striker Harry Kane is in line for a start.

    Scotland's chances of making it to Euro 2016 also received a boost after a comfortable 6-1 victory over Gibraltar.

    Steven Fletcher netted the national team's first hat-trick for almost 50 years as the part-timers were swatted aside, with Shaun Maloney and Steven Naismith adding the other goals.

    Gordon Strachan's side are third in what is shaping up to be a very tight Group D, level with Germany and just a point behind leaders Poland.

    Who said international weekends were boring? They're not singing that tune in Northern Ireland this morning, that's for sure - not after a 2-1 win over Finland in Euro 2016 qualification.

    Kyle Lafferty came over all Zlatan Ibrahimovic and bagged two terrific first-half goals, the first a superb right-foot volley, the second a precise header.

    Berat Sadik pulled one back for Finland but it was not enough to deny Northern Ireland their fourth win of the campaign, taking them just one point behind Romania in second place in Group F.

    Before we get to the football, an interesting bit of breaking news to bring you. Tiger Woods has dropped out of the top 100 players in golf's world rankings for the first time since 1996.

    Woods has slipped from 96 to 104, taking him beneath the likes of Romain Wattel, Emiliano Grillo and Daniel Summerhays. Nope, me neither.

    The 39-year-old American has not played since withdrawing from the Farmers Insurance Open on 6 February.
