    Some golf for you in the midst of all these Premier League news conferences. Mark O'Meara believes his good friend Tiger Woods will compete in next week's Masters.

    Former world number one Woods, whose ranking has plummeted to 104, has struggled badly for form and fitness this season and has played only twice on the PGA Tour.

    Woods played a practice round at Augusta but has yet to confirm if he will feature at next week's event after struggling for form.

    "Deep down I think he will play," said O'Meara. "I hope he plays but I also understand he is doing what he needs to do for him. Everybody struggles in the game of golf and no-one is immune to struggling.

    Liverpool's Raheem Sterling should stay at the club but is now "under pressure" after talking about his future, says former Reds defender Mark Lawrenson.

    The 20-year-old England winger told BBC Sport he is motivated by trophies and not money after rejecting a contract worth £100,000 a week.

    Sterling says he will address a new deal at the end of the season.

    "He's come a long way in a very short period of time and he needs to remember that," said Lawrenson.

    Retirement leaves you plenty of time to do the things you once put off in life - in the case of Ireland legend Brian O'Driscoll, it's crowdsurfing.

    His wife Amy Huberman was told her husband had gone on a "business trip" before discovering his crowdsurfing antics at a Hong Kong Sevens party and posting the picture on Twitter.

    She then demanded a giant Toblerone from O'Driscoll, which he duly forgot to bring back.

    Willie Limond has been forced to pull out of his fight with Chris Jenkins with a shoulder injury.

    The Glasgow-born fighter was set to defend his British Light Welterweight title, but will now have to vacate the belt.

    Instead, undefeated Jenkins will face Tyrone Nurse in Leeds on 11 April.

    Limond was crowned champion at the age of 36 when he beat Curtis Woodhouse in June last year on a 12-round split decision at the Braehead arena.

    On team news: "Everyone is back. All fit. This is very good news for us."

    On Harry Kane making his senior England debut: "I think it's a very good thing for him. It's all happened very quickly for him."

    On asked whether he wants Kane to play in the summer Euro U21 tournament:

    "I think we have eight very important games and we have time to speak about a lot of things that happen in the future. Harry is our player and if I decide he is in the squad to travel to Sydney [for Spurs summer friendlies]. It's our decision but I think we have time to speak in the future about the European competition."

    Would it be a problem?

    "We are always available and want to help the national team. The player - and in this case we have a very good relationship - I think we need to share the decision."

    Next season he won't have much rest either, is that a worry?

    "It's a thing to discuss with the FA, but always we try to find the best for the player and the national team and it's logical for Tottenham."

    There is no reason why a woman "can't be just be as good as a man" at snooker, says World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn.

    Reanne Evans, 29, has accepted an invitation to play in this year's World Championship qualifying.

    "Reanne has jumped at her chance and she is capable of beating half the field, maybe more," Hearn told BBC Radio Sheffield.

    The qualifiers for snooker's showpiece event take place from 8 to 15 April.
