    BBC Weather's Simon King: "You would have seen that there was some heavy rain in Augusta yesterday and the forecast for the next few days doesn't look very good either.

    "On Thursday, it will be mostly dry with temps up to 31C, but there is a small risk of a shower or isolated thunderstorm after 3pm. The risk of showers and play stopping thunderstorms increases on Friday. These could develop from late morning onwards and the day will on the whole, be pretty cloudy with highs of around 30C

    "The risk of showers and thunderstorms increases even further by Saturday but then it'll all clear up by Sunday to leave a dry and cooler final day with highs of 25C."

    Sim Bhullar has become the first player of Indian descent to play in the NBA after making his debut for Sacramento Kings.

    The 22-year-old came on with 16 seconds remaining in the Kings' 116-111 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

    The 7ft 5in Canada-born centre signed a 10-day contract to join the Kings' roster and said he hoped he could help grow the game in India.

    "It was a great feeling and I'm happy to be kind of an ambassador," he said.

    Guernsey's world number 22 Chris Simpson failed to cause a second upset at the El Gouna International Squash event in Egypt after he lost to former world number one James Willstrop.

    Simpson beat four-time world champion Amr Shabana in the first round.

    It was the first time that the Egyptian had been beaten in an opening-round game since 2011.

    But Simpson went down 11-8, 6-11, 11-6, 11-6 to Willstrop, who won silver at last summer's Commonwealth Games.

    England international Tom Burgess has signed a new deal with the South Sydney Rabbitohs which ties him to the NRL club until the end of the 2016 season.

    The 22-year-old, who has played alongside brothers Sam, George and Luke during his time with the Rabbitohs, moved to Australia in 2013 and has already tasted success, winning the NRL Grand Final in just his second season.

    "I'm really excited about signing on for another year with the Rabbitohs," said the former Bradford Bulls prop.

    "I'm really enjoying my time with the club. We've got a great set of lads here, and in the end the decision to stay is what I think is best for my career."

    Injury-prone Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere says he is ready for a first-team return after playing for the Under-21 side following a serious ankle problem.

    The 23-year-old has had two operations on his left ankle, which he injured against Manchester United in November.

    But he played 90 minutes in a side including Mikel Arteta and Abou Diaby as Arsenal beat Stoke 4-1 on Tuesday.

    "You can train as much as you like but you can't get that match fitness unless you play," Wilshere said. "I feel like I'm ready to play some part."

    Some tennis news and Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic made a winning return to the ATP Tour following an injury to his left foot that almost ended his career.

    The 30-year-old has been sidelined for 17 months after two operations to remove a benign tumour, which have stripped away "80% of his sole".

    But he saved two match points to beat Guilherme Clezar in the US Clay Court Championship first round in Houston.

    "I felt like this was a match I needed to win and I would have been really sad otherwise," Tipsarevic said.

    Here is the full story on Sam Tomkins. The England full-back will return to Super League after being released from his New Zealand Warriors contract because of homesickness.

    His three-year deal runs until 2016, but he will return to England after the 2015 season with former club Wigan having first option to sign him.

    Tomkins, England's all-time leading try-scorer, joined NRL side NZ Warriors in 2013 for a world-record fee.

    "I miss home in ways I never thought I would," said the 26-year-old. "I never imagined it would reach this point."
