    Alan Pardew's upping the price of last weekend's hat-trick hero Yannick Bolasie in front of the media this morning.

    When asked about the winger's reported £10m tag, Pardew responded: "Blimey. They need to have a look at that, because he is worth double."

    BBC Sport's Ben Smith with the latest news on Liverpool's Raheem Sterling, after he was photographed apparently taking nitrous oxide earlier this week.

    "Manager Brendan Rodgers did meet with Raheem Sterling yesterday. I am told Rodgers has no issues about starting with Sterling at Wembley, despite footage showing the 20-year-old appearing to inhale laughing gas and a series of photographs showing him smoking a shisha pipe. There was no fine or punishment and Liverpool see the matter as closed. He was reminded of his responsibilities as an ambassador and role model at Anfield. Rodgers also spoke to Jordon Ibe, who was snapped alongside Sterling smoking a shisha pipe. Once again, no fine or punishment - matter closed."

    Braintree Town have parted company with manager Alan Devonshire claiming he turned down the offer of a new contract.

    Former West Ham midfielder and England international Devonshire was at the helm of the Iron for four seasons, and guided them to three top-half finishes in the Conference Premier.

    In a statement, the club said: "The board offered Alan Devonshire an extension to his current employment on the same terms. Alan declined our offer."

    In case you missed it last night, England full-back Sam Tomkins has confirmed he will rejoin Wigan Warriors on a four-year deal.

    Tomkins returns from a spell in New Zealand in the National Rugby League and will rejoin his former club for the 2016 Super League season.

    Wigan have paid in excess of £200,000 for the 26-year-old.

    And more good news for the Warriors on Thursday, as they beat Warrington 30-20 to maintain their unbeaten home record for the season.

    "They have the best players in the Premier League, so they should be the best team - but they are not."

    As the season draws to a close, it's awards time again and Tottenham striker Harry Kane has bagged himself two nominations from the PFA - player of the year and young player of the year.

    Manchester United keeper David De Gea, Chelsea forward Eden Hazard and Liverpool attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho are also on the shortlist to win both awards.

    The Daily Express, external focus on Burnley boss Sean Dyche's revelation that another Premier League manager, who he does not name, told him his players needed to use diving as a way of securing vital points.

    Dyche emphatically rules out the tactic and says: "I cannot believe the British football fans who watch the Premier League want people simulating and diving. I can't believe in our psyche we think that would be acceptable."
