  9. Hampshire fight back against Yorkshirepublished at 13:23 British Summer Time 11 May 2015

BBC Radio Solent's Kevin James at Headingley:

    Yorkshire 370, Hampshire 21-1

"A better morning for Hampshire, who picked up the last three Yorkshire wickets for the addition of just 37.

"Hampshire faced a tricky 50 minutes before lunch, losing Sean Terry lbw to Bresnan for 0.

"Liam Dawson (14 not out) is a lucky boy to still be there. He's been dropped in the slips twice and should have been run out.

  11. Sussex toil against Middlesexpublished at 13:15 British Summer Time 11 May 2015

BBC London 94.9's Kevin Hand at Hove:

    Middlesex 269, Sussex 163-8

"Middlesex claimed five wickets in the morning session to put themselves well on top on a Hove pitch that has proved a minefield for the batsman.

"Sussex reached the interval on 163-8, with Ben Brown on 21 and Ajmal Shahzad two not out. The heavy cloud cover this morning aided the visitors as the severely cracked track has lacked any consistency in its bounce or pace since the off.

"The hosts still trail by 106, which in a low-scoring match will be crucial, unless they can find a substantial addition to their total from the lower order."

  12. Chopra century puts Bears in controlpublished at 13:15 British Summer Time 11 May 2015

BBC WM 95.6's Richard Wilford at Edgbaston:

    Warwickshire 264 & 196-6, Worcestershire 149

"A true captain's knock from Varun Chopra has kept Warwickshire in charge on day three - his 107 not out in seam-friendly conditions is arguably worth rather more than that.

"Joe Leach and Charlie Morris hit their straps well in the first hour, and gave Worcestershire hope of a more moderate fourth innings target.

"But Chopra's sixth wicket stand of 66 with Keith Barker has probably taken the game away from them."

  13. Pietersen reaches timely centurypublished at 13:09 British Summer Time 11 May 2015

New national director of cricket Andrew Strauss will reportedly give his views on the prospect of a Test recall for Pietersen, external at a news conference on Tuesday.

Ferrari team principal Maurizio Arrivabene does not believe the team can challenge Mercedes for the championship this year - even if Sebastian Vettel feels he is still in title hunt.

Vettel finished third to remain on the coat-tails of the leaders but the four-time world champion was some distance behind Mercedes pair Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton.

Arrivabene said: "Fighting for the championship I think is a bit too much.

"I didn't say (we would win) two races this year. To be honest, I said three races. I still believe that this is achievable but there is nothing in life that you can achieve without working hard and this is what we have to do."
