The headlines at the end of a busy sporting day:
Cricket: Kevin Pietersen hit the first triple century of his career to make a dramatic statement to England's selectors two months before the Ashes.
Football: Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola says he will still be at the club next season, despite reported interest from Manchester City.
Cycling: Italian rider Domenico Pozzovivo was taken to hospital after being involved in a horrific crash during stage three of the Giro d'Italia.
Football: Lower-league footballer Tim Nicot has become the second Belgian player to die of cardiac arrest in the past two weeks.
Kate Cross says she often forgets that she's a girl after taking eight wickets for men's team Heywood.
The England seamer became the first woman to play in the Central Lancashire League last month and took 8-47 in a win over Unsworth on Sunday.
"I'm treated like another player," the 23-year-old told BBC Sport.
"I've grown up playing boys' cricket and I'm never treated like a girl in a boys' team. I never dreamed I would get an eight-for in men's cricket."
She added: "I sort of lose track that I'm a girl."
Red Bull driver Daniel Ricciardo, who finished seventh in Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix, tweets:
Swindon boss Mark Cooper, meanwhile, says there is a calm atmosphere among his team despite the prospect of a trip to Wembley to face Preston.
"There's no hooting and screaming and back-slapping. They know it's half-time," he said.
"We know we have to be really professional because we have a really tough job to do to beat Sheffield United."
It's a sell-out at the County Ground - should be a belter.
Remember there will be live text commentary of the game on the BBC Sport website.
The Blades have lost out in seven previous play-off campaigns, but boss Nigel Clough does not believe that puts any additional pressure on his players.
"We need one goal, it doesn't matter when it comes. We have gone from being pretty even to them being very, very strong favourites so the pressure is all on them," he said.
"We have to play as we can, if we get half a chance hopefully we can put them away this time."
A hugely important play-off semi-final game at the County Ground tonight, where Swindon defender Harry Toffolo (thigh) is a doubt after missing the first leg at Bramall Lane on Thursday.
Striker Jermaine Hylton made just his second start for the club in the 2-1 win and could keep his place.
Sheffield United defender John Brayford (knee) could miss out after being forced off at half-time last week.
Midfielder Stefan Scougall (hamstring) is out but forward Jose Baxter (illness) might figure after missing the first game.
BBC Radio 5 live commentator Ian Brown: "The wisdom was that Swansea would struggle in this first full season with their rookie manager Garry Monk. Instead they have flourished.
With Wilfried Bony gone - and Bafetimbi Gomis not always available - they have still managed eye-catching results to seal a club-record number of Premier League points.
It's their best season since the halcyon days of John Toshack in 1982. Seven wins since the January window have given them an outside chance of European qualification.
So having completed a double over Manchester United, Swansea now seek the same against Arsenal."
BBC Radio 5 live commentator Ian Brown: "On a rain-drenched November afternoon in South Wales, Swansea fought back from a goal down to beat Arsenal. I was there to see a bedraggled Arsene Wenger outmanoeuvred on the touchline by a young tactician by the name of Garry Monk.
It was one of a series of autumn results that brought much introspection in Arsenal heartlands and even the staunchest Wenger allies were beginning to wobble. As usual, they should have known better.
Arsenal are actually qualifying for the Champions League with something to spare. They might have taken 30 points from 30 but for the stubbornness of Chelsea and have, of course, reached the cup final again.
Key players have returned to form and fitness so talk of a proper title challenge next season is far from preposterous."
Arsenal need to keep winning if they are to pip Manchester City to second place in the Premier League.
Team news for tonight's game is that midfielder Aaron Ramsey is a major doubt after sustaining a blow to the leg at Hull and frontman Danny Welbeck is almost certain to remain sidelined with a knee injury.
Meanwhile, Swansea defender Jordi Amat has been ruled out for the season with a broken metatarsal.
Dwight Tiendalli has been recalled from his loan spell at Middlesbrough, with Jazz Richards also back from a stint at Fulham. Both are available to play - and striker Bafetimbi Gomis could return after missing three games with a hamstring problem.
Well, that was all very exciting ... though possibly not for the non-cricket fans among you.
And as there are a couple of big games taking place in the world of football shortly, we'd better turn our attention to those...
Tweet from Nick Hoult, external, cricket writer from the Daily Telegraph:
I think we know what will be making the headlines in tomorrow's papers...
And it's all over for the day at Surrey.
Kevin Pietersen has finished unbeaten on 326 out of a score of 528 for 9 in their county championship game with Leicestershire.
Every single opposition player shakes his hand.
A fantastic innings that certainly spices things up a bit.
Not everyone's impressed...
Billybunter3rd: Pietersen not bad against a side that hasn't won for two years with Second Division journeymen bowlers. Same level as Oxford University.
Bit harsh Billy.
Oldham have called in police amid reports a death threat was sent to new manager Darren Kelly.
The League One club appointed Kelly last week but the 35-year-old from Northern Ireland has since had to refute claims that he is a supporter of the IRA.
A club statement on Monday afternoon read: "Oldham Athletic AFC are aware of threats made against individuals connected with the club. These matters have been passed to the police and the club will be making no further comments on this subject.
Stuart Mitchell: Hard to ignore class of the innings, even if it is against weaker opposition. Strauss has some major thinking to do.
Let's move away from the cricket for a moment to tell you England trio Jonathan Joseph, George Ford and Billy Vunipola have been shortlisted for the Premiership Player of the Season award.
Centre Joseph, 24, and 22-year-old fly-half Ford have played important roles in Bath securing a play-off spot for the first time since 2010.
Number eight Vunipola, 22, has made 13 appearances for Saracens this season.
Wasps pair Nathan Hughes and Elliot Daly are also on the shortlist, with the winner to be announced on 20 May.
Ed Rotheram: This young Pietersen chap is looking pretty good. Get him in for England. #ohtheirony
Aiden Smith: Pietersen has hit more runs on his own than England in their first innings in the third Test against the West Indies, and double what they hit in the second
Surrey have just announced that Pietersen - now on 324 (he's just hit his 14th six) - will talk to the media after play ends at Surrey.
Should be interesting - especially with Andrew Strauss facing the press tomorrow for the first time since being appointed England's Director of Cricket.
This is marvellous stuff from Pietersen but let's just put things in context for a moment.
He has been dropped five times in his innings - the first time when he was on 96 - and is up against a Leicestershire side that has not won a county championship game in three years and counting.
But, still, what an innings.
Time for some of your views me thinks.
