Liverpool’s Lazar Markovic is poised to join Turkish side Fenerbahce on a season-long loan.
The 21-year-old, signed for £20m from Benfica last summer, is being allowed to move to Turkey to aid his development and Liverpool insist he will be returning to the club at the end of his loan spell.
Talks are ongoing between the clubs but a deal is close, with Liverpool receiving a loan fee from Fenerbahce for Markovic.
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers still has high hopes for the talented Serbian despite a mixed first season at Anfield, where he made 34 appearances in total but only 11 Premier League starts.

The former QPR man signed a year-long deal with Championship club Burnley on Thursday, a year after criticising the Lancashire town, external and admitting he was relieved he didn't have to live there on Twitter.
The 32-year-old agreed the move after Clarets boss Sean Dyche cooked him lunch. That must have been some meal...
