Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton says he always "puts on weight" when he comes to Texas because he enjoys the food so much.

Hamilton says he feels comfortable in Austin and "loves the track".

Don't get too comfortable Lewis. You haven't won that title yet...

Arsene Wenger is disappointed Wales played Aaron Ramsey in their final Euro 2016 qualifier against Andorra when they had already qualified. But he admits he "regrets" not resting the midfielder in the subsequent match at Watford, with Ramsey likely to miss the next three to four weeks with a hamstring injury.

Wenger also disagrees with Louis van Gaal after the Manchester United boss described the Christmas schedule as "evil". Wenger has grown to love the Boxing Day games - "I would cry if you changed it."

Aston Villa v Swansea City (Sat, 15:00 BST)

    Tim SherwoodImage source, Getty Images

Villa manager Tim Sherwood is invariably chipper in front of microphones, and no doubt he will speak confidently again on Friday, notwithstanding the recent verbal and social media heckling in his direction.

Many managers would be on shifting sands after a run of one point from eight League games, and it is widely speculated that another defeat on Saturday would be Sherwood's last.

However, it's also clear that not all Villa supporters see it that way, with many saying he should be backed to continue, and a credible case can be made in his defence, given the obvious lack of Premier League experience in Villa's squad. Sherwood's employers are, as always, keeping their counsel.

We're expecting to hear from the Villa manager from around 10:00 BST

Hamza Darby: Remember Wolf from Gladiators? I loved to hate to love him

Charlie Cook: Roy Keane. Always targeted the opposing captain. Respect for his leadership but in the 90 minutes, he's the enemy.

Martyn Phelps: No time for Cristiano Ronaldo. Big headed and although very skilful, still feels the need to cheat. He's no Pele.

You lot are not holding back here. We love it. Keep them coming.

On former Arsenal midfielder and current Manchester City youth coach Patrick Vieira: "He has the qualities to be a manager. He is old enough to start. It depends what he wants to do."

"Winning the game is the most important thing this weekend. In most games we've played, we've performed relatively well."
