The national airlines of Australia and New Zealand have agreed a wager on the outcome of the Rugby World Cup final.

Air New Zealand and Qantas shook on the agreement following a humorous exchange on Twitter.

Qantas crew will have to wear New Zealand rugby jerseys on Monday if the All Blacks win. Air NZ pilots, however, will have to announce Australia's win.

It followed an earlier suggestion that the losing airline repaint their fleet in the opposition colours.

    More on that here.

“We cannot think about two seasons ago with Norwich, it’s different, another team, another names, another moment."

And that's your lot from Pellegrini today.

    Does that rhyme?

Jose Mourinho refuses to comment on whether he has received reassurances from Chelsea's board and owner Roman Abramovich over his future as manager.

Mourinho was the subject of the first managerial vote of confidence of Abramovich's 12-year ownership on 5 October, and Chelsea have won just one of four matches since ahead of Saturday's clash with Liverpool.

Asked whether he had been given assurances over his position, Mourinho, who in August signed a four-year contract extension until June 2019, said: "I don't have to tell you."

Chelsea v Liverpool (Sat, 12:45 GMT)

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says he cannot promise the Blues will qualify for a Champions League spot.

He adds: "Chelsea is a big club. It's the club that I choose to come to. It's a club I live in a very specific way every day. Liverpool is a big club, Manchester United is a super big club. Last season Liverpool win nothing and didn't qualify for the Champions League.

"Two years ago Manchester United didn't qualify for the Champions League - not even Europa League - and won nothing. They are still a monster club, but that's football."

Reigning champions Chelsea start the weekend 15th in the Premier League table, 11 points behind leaders Manchester City and nine points adrift of fourth place.

Aston Villa's caretaker manager Kevin MacDonald expects Remi Garde to be the club's new manager eventually.

Lyon's president has said he would block the move of two of his backroom staff to join Garde at Villa but MacDonald says: "If they're desperate to get him, then they'll pay the money."

MacDonald has been told he's in charge of the squad for Monday's trip to Tottenham but Garde - who is out of work and available - remains the bookies' favourite for the Villa job.
